Found this video on YT (I wasn't looking for anything in particular) but how would we see the current team? How many more wins? Can't change players or playing calling, only Chase for Brady.

When you watch the video see how good Chase's receivers were both in talent and discipline.

We’re probably 8-3 at worst.

Well it depends,

1. With Chase do we still miss the easy field goal, or inexplicably fumble in the end zone?

2. With Chase can Shrader run 1 more step and score a TD against UGA. Would Connor Wood not get a crucial false start on the 2 yard line?

3. With Chase, would the roughing the kicker penalty not be called?

4. I will concede the pick 6 at FL not happening with Chase.

I'm not into moral victories. But rarely do you see a season come down to 4 to 5 plays that you can actually point at. Only 1 of those plays involves Cook. The others are teammates or refs which could effect a season even with Chase at QB.

With Chase we dont only score 14 points, so the FG and fumble are irrelevant.

We score more than 22 points

Would be irrelevant because we would score a lot more than 14 points.

And we also score a lot more than 17 points.

The point is, we score a lot more so these little things aren't the difference makers they are now.

Chase's accuracy would have put a lot more drives into scoring position.

Chase could also read a defense.

It's most of the reason why he's made $50+ MIL as a 10 year NFL backup ...

We'd be 8-3 at a minimum with a reasonably competent QB.

With a real QB, the Auburn game isn’t close. The Kentucky game isn’t close. The Florida game isn’t close.

We could’ve still lost to Tenn, KSt and Georgia.

We would beat KState and the UT game would have been close.

KState had 1 sack, 2 QB hurries, and 4 picks.

If Chase didn’t have pressure he would have picked them apart and that allows are defense to be off the field. KState would score 21 or less. We are a much more talented team than KState and a legit QB would tear them up.

We had open receivers against UT almost all night. Chase would have hit them. The defense would not have been as tired in the 2nd half and we would have kept it close.

Chase would have also been hampered through the OL play calling through the first 9 games. He would have been throwing to first reads as well. He may have thrown a better long ball but not if was hurried most of the season. The line play has been better and Chase, Cook, and Horn would have all done better in the last two than in the first nine. Not having Drink as OC has been making a difference.

Chase basically installed the spread O because he ran that shite in high school. He would not have been a one read QB. He’d throw to the open guy.

But the assumption here is that the team would not have found ways to self inflict wounds with Chase like they did Cook. More drives with Chase could mean more points or it could mean more Connor Wood penalties at bad times, more dropped passes, more fumbles. More lateral play calls by Drink. We can't just assume the good without also assuming the bad.

Correct but I believe with Chase he'd be getting in people's faces when they pout, run a bad route or tweet something stupid.

Brady Cook against Arkansas:

16/26 for 242 passing yards.

18/138 rushing yards.

Impressive stats for a QB.

Burden left without enough defenders at his wide out position will cause trouble for a defense. Lovett catches most balls anywhere near him like spider man. Cooper and Miller made their presence known.

Only nine points scored in the second half is concerning but a good game for Brady. As others have said this year "where were the tight ends?" That could be the missing link.

Against what were probably the three weakest Ds on our entire schedule.

We might have the most talented WR’s in the SEC. Arkansas had a WR playing corner yesterday. Last week we played NMSU. Tennessee May have the worst corners in the SEC. Cook played terrible against Kentucky. Those stats are bullshite.

He played the best he has all season yesterday, but he still missed a lot of open receivers. The 2 pt conversion was a good call and Mekhi was wide open. Not a single defensive player on his left side, but he tried to force it to the middle. He threw low passes over the middle that were knocked down and missed receivers. Lovett ran a perfect route and beat the safety over the middle and if waited just a second he would have had a TD, but threw it early with no pressure and it was knocked down. Arkansas defensive stats 2 Sacks and 0 hurries

We could have won by 20 with a QB running for less than 40 yards.

Good points. I'll withhold optimism until some of next season is played.
