What are your thoughts on Lindsey as the OC, Nuke?

I think his game plan is a little hamstrung with a very weak TE room. If he had an everydown TE with hands, they should be able to murder Cover 2 and Quarters coverage with the attention being paid to stop Roberts. Its what the staff talked about all fall camp. It hasn't made to the field once in a game.

That said, go 10 personnel and put Terry or Fowlkes in the slot in place of the TE and attack the formation.

Slow start.
Corey batoon is gonna be fielding calls.
Love seeing the grind from an STL kid.
Damn you drink for being a pussy in Starkville

Complimentary football, IMO. The defense never gave any indication that aTm could score a TD. The D won that game.
And Reed being shitty helped.

He refuses to stand behind his guns in high leverage moments. It is maddening

Agreed. We're gonna have to throw a large bag at batoon.
To do this with basically an all new defense ....

They let another team hang around with very questionable play calling given the looks aTm was showing. Reed wasn't good enough to make it hurt. Kamario Taylor was.

Nuke ... spot on.
Will be the path to beating UGA

I agree. Our TEs are not producing like we thought they would. I really thought Jude James would be involved in the passing game. He's MIA

Watching Stockton attack the seams and deep middle vs 2 high looks has me mad jealous

James went 5 for 57 with no drops. Unfortunately he was the lowest rated run blocker on the team. It was a terrible day run blocking overall and instead of leaning into the passing game early, Chip kept the offense behind the chains trying to establish the run.

in a season filled with Jekyll and Hyde performances from nearly every position group, the offensive line is the most Jekyll and Hyde I think. It looked like they had fixed their issues, but they went back to looking lost on way too many plays against Ole Miss.

The rushing success rate on the season is pretty low. It worked vs teams that couldn't punch back. It didnt vs the two teams that can throw it. It was clear early in the game that OM was going to load the box. Their block destruction was on point all game.....and Chip kept putting the offense behind the sticks running into it instead of leaning on an intermediate passing game that was working.
The Red Zone offense is on an entirely other level of suck.

Mizzou scored a TD on a seam route to Lee.
Mizzou had a 12-play TD drive on 12 running plays the last 7 minutes of the 3rd quarter to go up 17.
Mizzou had 247 yards rushing.

That was a slant not a seam route. Keep trying.

The highlight shows Lee in motion to the hash mark, take off upfield, catch the ball just inside the hash, split two safeties up the seam, and outrun everyone to the end zone.
But it was hard for you to watch 12 straight running plays to cover 76 yards on a TD drive, because the offense never was able to find the formational weakness you mentioned.

Thats a slant not a seam. The seam forces the Mike to cover the deep middle vs C2/quarters. What you saw was a slant vs Cover 1. If you knew ball you would know this.
