Who's coming up in the ranks?
I tend to lean towards Clemson's offense:
Co-offensive coordinator Tony L. Elliott (4th season)
Co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott (4th season)
I'll take their qb Kelly Bryant as a package deal.

I want the Troy coach. And he’s already beaten LSU and Nebraska. Come on down Mr. Brown.

Dina Babers. He has proven that he can out coach and prepare better than opponents even when sadly outclassed. And Mizzou is a step up.

We could just say frick it and get Lane Kiffin

Kiffin has a big enough name that I bet he could put together a good staff and he could recruit. But I dont think he sees Mizzou as big enough for him.

I don’t see him leaving Syracuse to come here. We’ll have to settle for some Sun Belt or AAC coach.

Kiffin is an interesting name. Hell, go for it. He’ll definitely sell more tickets than Odom.

My problem with Kiffin is for all his antics, he hasn't shown anything special as a HC. I like Babers because he has taken less talent and molded it into a disciplined, competitive team which is exactly what we need.

I think that's why you take Kiffin right now. He gives the program attention and badly needed PR. Right now no one seriously gives a shite about Mizzou because Odom is the most boring HC in history.
You get a guy like Kiffin your program becomes relevant again. I don't think that will ever happen under Odom.

frick Lane Kiffin. He’s a clown.

Kiffin did win his conference last year. I’d still rather have Brown, but wouldn’t mind Kiffin as a fallback option. I still don’t see Babers leaving Syracuse to come here.

While Kiffin may not be at the top of my list, I dont think we can say "frick" anybody right now. We are solid beggars not choosers. I say Babers, Strong (he wants back into to P5), Miles and then Kiffin.

Strong was a name that crossed my mind too. Where is he now?

South Florida. Lost 2 games in 2 years.

Syracuse 41 no 22 NC State 34. 14 mins left in the 4th. Syracuse is slow playing Babers, I say we swoop in.

I think Kiffin gives you what SC has with Muschamp.

I’d gladly take that right now.

I wouldn’t be against Strong either. Brown is still my top choice though.

We have the cash if we would step up, if we hire some never done it no name I am fricking going to blow my top.

Anyone listed in this thread would be a better coach than Barry. Including Lane. But hiring Lane is like hiring a midget for a minor league baseball team.
