Found a parking map for game day at Arky state. Looks like we will be paying 20 bucks and parking near the convocation center in green lots or something. I will update when we get there.

Anything by the convocation center won't be ideal for tailgating. It will be concrete and parking spots and not a lot of room if you want to spread out a little bit. I would go either around the baseball field or it looks like they opened up the equine center across from the stadium. I am a donor and have blue parking and we tried to tailgate a few times and it wasn't the same, too much concrete and too dang hot.

Not anymore no, I grew up in Sikeston, MO and I now live south of little rock. I lived in Jonesboro from 1994-2005. My wife has family up the road in Paragould, and being a season ticket holder I go back every home game.

Ok cool. I will try the baseball field. So do they let you spread out over by the field? I would prefer grass because we are going to be going at it for awhile. What time do the gates open to tailgate?

I don't know how tightly they will try to pack them in, but it is grass and just a better vibe. Generally speaking the folks who aren't donors or who don't donate for the tailgate spots setup out there. I am not sure what time they will open up parking, but I would imagine that they will start parking folks as early as they arrive. I would try to get literally just south of the field. Across the street would be the old intramural fields and that might be a mess to get into and out of after the game.

I was born in Sikeston and grew up in Cape. I have family in both Paragould and Jonesboro.

I just received an email from the Alumni Assoc. There is a Mizzou Tailgate/tent near the Convocation Center. Link above with map.

Here what it said:

Parking: Cash lots available near the Convocation Center.

Join MAA President Sherri Gallick, the MAA Memphis chapter and fellow Tigers in a Mizzou tent. No entry fee and no registration required. Please bring your own tailgating gear, food and beverages.

That should be a nice little area. That is the grassy area in front of the convocation center. You could fit a good amount of people in that area.
