OU is not a juggernaut. This is a very even matchup and Mizzou should win with average QB play. Avoid turnovers and Mizzou will win with Pribula or Zollers. Don't get yourself worked up

So if Pribs starts, some thoughts…

1. Does this endear Pribs to Drink and makes him follow him to PSU or another location (assuming Drink leaves)?

2. If point 1 is true, does this allow the next coach to strong sell QB Z, so we keep him?

3. Drink stays and is simply treating this situation like he did Cook?

4. Choose your own adventure.

OU has the fourth best rushing defense in the country, giving up 2.48 YPC for 82.2 ypg.

Yeah, but they'll never be able to guess what's coming.

Insanity to start pribs. His rag arm and OUs stacking of the box will lead to a hideous 17-3 final. Pribula throws 2 RZ picks and fumbles inside the 30 on a strip sack.

Pribula has been questionable ever since the kU game.

The only people who don’t understand the question seem to be Drink and Moore.

I expect him to get sacked 7 times and turn it over 3 times.

Sacked 4 times with two INTs. Beau overachieved.

I only watched the highlights but it seemed Beau did not run the ball much himself. That is a big part of his game. Maybe if he was 100% we would have seen more of him making plays keeping the ball.

Passing the interception throw to the receiver that had 3 defenders around was a bad decision.

Some more work with his passing game is needed but he made some good throws. I am not ready to give up on him.

One thing we know about Drink is he shuts down QB controversies quick. Today the starter was ready to play and Eli played him.

This isn't the old paradigm. If we are paying 1.5 million, he has to be producing results. Practice QBs in the NFL cost less.

These are professionals. We can get much better talent for that money.

I watched Pitt’s freshman QB. He looked better than anyone we’ve had at QB in 5 years.
