I could care less about recruiting rankings. After you get past the top segment of elite recruits it’s essentially a crapshoot where identifying fit and developing becomes more important. Classes are judged on the field, and his have been good. He’s also unlocked STL for us which was a huge problem. I don’t care if we recruit in the 90’s but constantly have a roster in the top 20.

recruiting rankings kind of suck for anything other than a rough measure. 43 could turn out to be anywhere from 25 to 65. BO has consistently outperformed his rankings. It would be nice if he was outperforming a higher ranking , but he is trending that direction

On the other I think it's hard to justify 4-4 and 5th in the East with the greatest QB in program history statistically (At least I think he broke most if not all QB records to call him that I'm not 100% sure)

I know there was talk about him moving up the all time SEC lists but statistically, Chase Daniel has about 1000 more yards and 5 more touch downs. I'd be surprised if Lock catches him but the TD's is an outside possibility.

Personally, I think our 2nd best QB was Brad Smith who had 3000 less passing yards but about 4000 more rushing yards.

Lock slides in just behind those 2 imo. His numbers are slightly better than Blaine Gabbert except Blaine didn't stay for a 4th year.

Yeah, I do tend to find that teams that generally recruit lower have that view coincidence or not. I like to follow it myself, not real real close but enough to pay for VIP every year.

Some of the top guys are also just easy to scout and rank or project, I saw Jameson Williams 2 weeks ago at Mt Vernon in the state semis and that dude is insanely talented. I think 247 has him the #1 player in the state and he looked it.

Ah, I thought I saw he broke some record but maybe not or it may have been one of those lesser ones. I think I saw it during the Ark game but it could have been just moving the all time lists like you said.

The only Mizzou record I can think of that he holds is the single game passing yards he set against Missouri State.

I’ll say his base will be between 3-3.5M for 5 years. Buyout fully guaranteed in yr 1 and decreasing by 20% each following year. 500k extra into the asst pool
that's actually pretty reasonable

Still do, couldn't recruit at this level. Also was left a team with sanctions....so kind of a tough situation.

Lock holds the single game Mizzou passing TD record at 6 I believe.

Kim Anderson was fricking terrible. He got paid a couple million to hold a pile of of shite until it turned white and the blowflies stopped coming around. Good for him.

I hope he has an awesome time living in Kansas.

3.05 until 2024.

Didn’t see anything about asst pool but I’m assuming that will increase also.

Still giving us a bit of a discount I’d say

Potential bonuses of $1.8 million
Automatic extends any year with 9 or more wins

The buyout is still pretty low, so any year he’s successful his name will come up at other jobs.

He got a $700K raise. He can get another by winning 8 games again next year.
