I'm gonna disagree with you. We leave 2022 having absolute proof that 4 or 5 plays are the difference between a 5 win season and a 8 win season. This is a good team, and better talent joins the starting lineup next season
Well, I’d really like to believe this. I haven’t studied who we are definitely losing on defense, and I’m not even going to speculate on portal losses or gains. What I’d love to believe is that we could at least stay static on defense and improve at QB and O-line.
As it stands, we will spend the off season with Brady as the presumed starter for 2023. I know, I know…every slot is open competition but getting Horn just a couple of snaps in live action didn’t add much to his development.
Although I don’t see it happening, a win against Arky would be a significant boost. Extra bowl game practice and would look much better to recruits than seeing the team spending the holidays at home.
Eli needs a big win. I’ll give him LSU in his first year and (especially now in retrospect) SCAR on the road was significant this year, but off the top of my head, can’t think of any other truly meaningful wins he’s had. Beating the Hogs to go bowling would tell me something about the direction Drink and this team are heading.

It's Missouri, we always expect the worst. That way we're never disappointed, and occasionally pleasantly surprised.
I see this as a one score game. If the offense can stay on the field long enough in the 3rd quarter, the defense won't be gassed in the 4th, and we win.

It will be close.
The sharps opened at 4.5 and it's down to 3. Sharps know something.

Someone mention Horn didn't get to do much during the Spring and Summer. With a full Spring and Summer should be good for him to get much better and with a new OC and maybe some new players from transfer portal and others that redshirted just like Horn did. Plus, the OL should be better too. Give this year a break. Move on to next year and the team should be much better. I have faith that Drinkwitz will get the team to be much better next year and win more than 7 regular games.

Mea culpa. Good win for the tigers. Cook did enough to win. I didn’t think he was sharp at all.
But a W is a W.

Yeah, blowing my own horn. But it's not often I get it this right.

I thought we didn't have a chance when the news came out KJ Jefferson was healthy. That guy is hard to bring down but he was dropped/sacked six times. Man, this Missouri defense is fun to watch.
