Alright guys, a bit early for this thread but I'm excited for the season to start. Let's hear those predictions.

Thursday night game in beginning of the season which means everyone will watch this game coast to coast.

Mmmm... early season game against a decent/not bad program.

28-17 Missouri. Shaky to start but as the game goes on the running attack wears La. Tech down. A good test where y'all can work the kinks out but have enough in the tank to win comfortably.

expect defense to struggle and our offense will be slow to start. I think this is a 7-10pt game at best for us.

Do you realize we are not 100 percent ready due to not having a top OLs and quarterback is still questionable. How good is he throwing downfield? Can he do it regularly? Those are the two most important question that we will see if it will be solved. If not, then the new quarterback should be the starter by next year. Next year is where I am expecting a big year. Win 8 games this year is where to expect hope for next year. Also, this should help get top recruits to commit to Drinkwitz. This year isn't a let just get 6 wins and make bowl and move on to next year. That will not cut it if you want to land some top recruits.

This sounds like a demagogue trying to manipulate opinion. Alabama doesn't bother to beat many of their creampuff opponents by that margin, and you said that is the MINIMUM. La Tech isn't the absolute bottom dregs. I hope we win 48-13, but if we struggle to win 37-27 I don't think Drink is annointed a failure.
KS, SC, Kentucky, Tenn, and Fla will be the barometer to judge our team.

For the ones going, you guys will get a glimpse of the new indoor facility. It's just framed right now but you'll get a decent idea of what it'll become. It's basically behind the south endzone and to the right.

La Tech won 3 games last year. I'm not sure why they are getting any love

Holy crap you hooked me with that simple one. Your post was right after a "we win by 7 at best", so both extremes one after the other.
Apologies. Rereading your post, it was obvious.

Drink feeds Schrader and Peat. They finna' eat.

42-14. 5 rushing TDs. Cook throws one to the freshman stud to keep him interested.

Why would you expect the defense to struggle. They are talented, deep and experienced. I expect them to be very good.

Baker’s system is pretty similar to Wilks. Biggest difference is the STAR position and that fits our personnel better IMO

Oh...I'm not sure. Probably because the defense is terrible until they show they aren't. I dont see how anyone can just assume the defense is automatically better this year. They could still be just as bad.
