I watched the Army vs Navy game. I did not watch the Mizzou vs Kansas game.

My takeaway is that Army is very beatable. The team looked one dimensional and this could be a blow-out if and only if we play our quarterback situation correctly.

Yup. They are not as good as previous Army teams. Take away that fullback dive (which Navy did) and Army has a nasty tendency to collapse offensively.

Looks like Brady Cook getting the start. Wonder if it sticks.

Hope so. It should have happened weeks earlier.

Army is a 5.5 point favorite and the majority of the public is betting on them. A little surprising, Army seems very beatable to me

Unless you're a Mizzou fan, if you're in Vegas looking at Mizzous stats, it may seem like Army will run up and down the field with impunity. Hence the betting line.

OH and also losing Manuel who was a run stopper. On paper thus looks like a really bad match up.

Depleted offense and defense.... Now no Badie?

Is it too late to withdraw? Lol

I can't blame Badie at this point. And, it looks like Drink told him best to stay out.

If we're already depleted in a meaningless bowl against Army, why risk his draft stock with injury?

I think drink really wants to see what he has coming back next year at RB.

There’s at least a 50% chance that Drink said it was his decision so that Tyler didn’t get any blowback from fans.

^Agree 100% TB has given and shown enough already also has no NIL money so would rather him not get hurt at this point in his career anyway go secure the bag Tyler!

I am interested to see more of the younger backs we have, would like to see if Butts (and others) gets some action too. Taj was pretty stellar at DeSmet would like to see him get a role on this team in the future.

I think Mizzou still wins it. I have faith in Brady Cook - he will be ready to sling it.

Badie hurts but Martez being out is IMO is also really bad.

Army played a very weak schedule this year, as Navy tried to tell anyone who would listen. I consider them very vulnerable to a defense with good lane discipline.

This isn't a "I'm really fond of this team, want to see them wrap it up with a bow" kind of season for me. I'm glad the players and units improved in many areas, but I am fine with seeing who is going to be able to step up next year, and getting them game action.
Only concern: is a player being held out at this time any indicator of possibly entering the portal?

If Bazelak leaves, he leaves. Same with Macon.

The QB competition is going to be fierce in the spring between Cook and Horn. Both have NFL arms and are better options than what Drink chose to play the last 5-6 games of the season. Badie carried this offense in those games and it is time for fresh blood.
