LINK

The offense will have to be really good because the defense will be relying on a lot of underclassmen next season. The 2019 defense looks to return 8 or 9 starters.

I could see Mizzou as high as 8 wins but think 6 or 7 is more likely so that 6.5 is about a perfect play.

UT Martin- W
Wyoming- W
Purdue- W
Georgia- L
South Carolina- Toss up
Alabama- L
Memphis- W
Kentucky- W
Florida- L
Vandy- W
Tennessee- L could be toss-up on how they are playing
Arkansas- W

7 and 5 with SC loss
8 and 4 with SC win
9 and 3 if we are lucky with SC win and Tenn is bad

I’ll go with 8 and 4
We will beat either Tenn or SC

I miss mizzoukills. I’m shocked he went AWOL this long. He must really like Tiger Board.

ESPN FPI has them favored in 8 games this year. Less than 7 wins is a considerable underachievement IMO. UGA and BAMA are given losses but the rest of the teams have as many or more questions on both sides of the ball.

Beating SC and UF will be the difference between just making a bowl and the program taking another step.

Florida is going to ride on what their oline can be. Skill talent is negated by poor line play and I'm not sure Mullen has a QB that can take over a ball game if his OTs aren't significantly improved.

South Carolina is going to be a slug fest up front. Looking forward to that game.

I see a losing season. No Heupel this time and our schedule is significantly harder than last year. I always want Mizzou to win every game they play and I'll be watching all the games, but I'm not gonna sit here and pump shine all day. We got the two teams that played in the national championship last season on our schedule. Ouch. Florida also has a better coach IMO.

Florida has a new coaching staff, and no QB. They have talent, but I’m not convinced that’s an L. Tennessee has a new coaching staff, and question marks on O and D. Again, I think a very winnable game. As Navynuke said, I think a 7 win season is an underachievement. We’ve got some questions on D, but our interior line should be really good and that goes a long way. The South Carolina game means a lot again this year, but we are set up to win 8-9 games. Although after the last few years, I’m not hopeful. I’ll wait and see.

One of the things that would help is if we played teams with new coaches early.

It’s a disadvantage playing Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas later in the season. It would be easier to play them early before they get accustomed to their new systems.

Killz gave away his TB screen name. That’s not even him anymore. Pretty sure it’s his cousin or whatever that used to post here with an Arkansas logo, Ncrawler or something.

About the same record as last year, if we're lucky.

Someone said he posted as “The Stranger” on More Sports Board last year. Did he lose a ban bet with someone?

I'd say the only knowns are losses to Bama and UGA and a win against UT Martin.

Best chances to win in conference are UK, Vandy and Arky at home.

Wyoming, Purdue and Memphis were all bowl teams last year. Who knows what they'll be the upcoming year but we know how we fared against bowl teams in the past. Far from lay ups.

If things held true to form from last year, we'd be 6-6.
