The Shack is awesome because it's a bunch of people that have known each other for a while just sit there and make dumb jokes as talk shite about each other all the time.
The Shack is awesome.
We should have that here.
I agree.

Well, ok. Here's a three song sample, although not necessarily representative of the full range of what we do.
Closest to being done, although still a rough mix:
Moment in Time
Still with the scratch vocals:
Dead Men's Bones
More in line with the rest of the album:
How Do You Like Me Now?
All guitars by yours truly.

Dude. Good picking. Sounds good. Do y'all play anywhere regularly?
Also, just got a DAW. Which enables me to make garbage tracks like this in a matter of minutes.

Thanks. We're an all-original music band, and right now we're concentrating on finishing this album and getting a website up to feature it, and then we'll be supporting it around the STL this summer, hopefully. We've only been together about 8 months, and most of that time has been spent writing and then starting the recording process, which we're doing ourselves. The holidays and the weather around here this winter slowed us down a bunch.

Tobe
What kind of music?
What kind of music?

Well, I guess that depends on your definitions, but generally it's hard rock/metal I'd say.

Sounds good man.
What kind of guitar do you play?
I have a '93 Epiphone Les Paul that I just upgraded. Seymour Duncan matched '59' humbuckers and new electronics. Orange drop caps, new pots, and a switchcraft 3-way switch wired 50's style.
It sounds like a friggin Gibson now. If I ever become worth a shite I'll make another vid and post it.

Sigh. Once upon a time I had a really nice 80's reissue of a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Custom, black with all gold hardware and Dimarzios. Got into a money bind several years ago and it, my 5150 head and half stack, PA gear and light show all had to be sacrificed. One of my friends has my Gibson now, and he's not selling it back to me, the SOB, lol.
Right now all I have as far as guitars are two Peavey Tracers, one the top of the line Tracer and the other just the standard model, both from the 80's. The top of the line one has a Kahler locking nut, floating bridge system, with a dual coil EMG in the bridge and a single coil EMG in the neck position, nothing too fancy. The other also has a Kahler and a George Lynch dual coil in the bridge. Best part of my rig is probably the Celestion Classics in my 4x12, lol.

Right on.
My dad has an old single humbucker Peavey Patriot, that thing is a real sleeper. Sounds great with a slide.
I like it so much that I almost popped on an '81 T-90 on Craigslist, but at this point I'm holding strong for a Mexican Strat that I can mod.
I figure if I can find a decent one for $250 and throw some Texas Specials in there, I'd be happy as a sow in mud.
Love me some guitars dude.

Cool. Peavey actually makes some decent stuff. I've been toying with the idea of finding myself another Les Paul, but I probably should upgrade some of my other gear-plus my daughter has reached that age where she's starting to think she needs to stake her claim on my cash flow too, lol.
