I'm seeing at least 8 wins for Mizzou this year, maybe 9

Y'all have to beat Purdue, that game sets the tone for the season, I think.

Yes, I know Imma homer, but it looks like the Bama AND UGA games are losses

That leaves Purdue, SC and Florida

You should beat KY, Vandy & Tenn this year, Memphis is a tough out, but that is another game you should win

What's the mood with the fans? Are y'all optimistic coming into the year?

I say 8 min, 9 max. Offense will be legit, defense still too many question marks.

My concern on the offense would be if the O Line can hold their blocks in a pro style offense compared to the spread up tempo offense that we ran last year. I think 8-9 wins is very doable.

I doubt the offense changes that much from last season. New wrinkles will be added, but DD will probably keep most of the successful elements from last season.

We get to 11 wins.

Only conference loss to Alabama.

Back to Atlanta with a shitty OOC loss.

One publication has Mizzou at 8 wins and I say 5.

I expect 5 to 7 wins. I say 7 as a possibility to avoid my own cynicism. I think it’s more likely we’re at 5 or 6 wins.

Put me down in the 5 wins column. OK, maybe 6.

I've seen nothing that excites me enough to consider 8-9 wins...and I do see, at the conclusion of the season, pages of "Should BO be fired?" posts.

I agree with you on Purdue. I see a 2-4 start which will have me calling for BO's head. It's BO's year to really prove himself as a HC. Remember his other two season starts are 2-4 and 1-5. Tigers need to be eating steel on Sept. 1 for once under Odom.

Can Mullen turn UF around that fast? I don't think so.

BO & Co. needs a Bama or UGA win to hang on the wall...very badly.

Can BO & Co. win a road game at UF and tenny???

6 regular season wins or less with this team and schedule...I say goodbye HCBO. Yes, even going to a bowl game.

I see 7 or 8 regular season wins...a too early guess. Most years I'm wrong.

I’m seeing 7 or 8 wins. This is the year the defense starts to breakthrough. Only 3 seniors are expected to start, but there is a lot of experience everywhere except DE and FS/SS.

I think 8 wins should be the goal for this team. However, I really don’t know what to expect from them. Questions on D are concerning and we won’t know what we’ve got until a few games into the season. Dooley is a big question mark calling plays. We have talent on offense, but who knows what will be done with it. The schedule sets up nicely for a 7 win floor. Any less than that, and calls for BOs head are warranted.

If we get to 3-0 then the Derek Dooley experiment might be working. Maybe 8 or 9 wins. If we go to 4-0 with Greg McElroy’s number 2 potential upset over uga at home to start, we could cruise to 10.

my gut tells us 6 wins. uf, ut, and arky have new coaches. One of them might be good. Usc looks solid. Bama and uga look like losses. That leaves wins likely over vandy and uk and maybe the ooc. Memphis and purdue might be tough. If we don’t win those 2, we get a new coach.

I like 7 wins. We will lose a game we should not. We will not win a game we should not.

If HCBO does not change this defense around this year, this is his 4th season running this D, then he should get a proven DC. I have no idea how we go from 3 years in a row of a high caliber defense to this shite storm we see today. Except for BO running it.

Yeah Bama is going to tear us a new arsehole, let' be honest. Georgia more than likely will cruise to a pretty easy victory. We just don't stack up well against those 2 teams. Let's not forget freaking UK has owned our arse lately, if we can't turn the tide on that, good luck with any more than 7 wins.

I think you guys play some close games. Dooley will be smarter than Heupel as far as running the clock better. Lock will have many options with passing routes and not just go routes. Your RBs are very solid/good. It might just take a little time to adjust to his style of play calling.

7-5 is my prediction with the possibility to be better if the defense is much improved.

The offense should be very legit.
