With a week to prepare and this is what we get?

GTFO. You're fricking high if you think we should give him more time.

I’m probably more furious about this win than I am the losses to Aubbie, UGA, and Florida.

We are rudderless on offense. A HS coach could call a better game than this. Luther stakes us a 17 pt lead and he never sees another target all game.

Cook can’t read the field. He’s not an intelligent QB. His mobility is getting exposed the deeper we get into the SEC slate. He has no pocket presence.

Drink… drink is just clueless. We have no identity on offense.

I fear that because of this clown’s deficiencies, we will lose an up and coming DC mind in Baker who will most assuredly go somewhere where his schemes are appreciated with competent offensive strategy.

I am disappointed with the results and there was no quarterback change. I am guessing it is time for Drinkwitz to get a good OC.

Play horn rest of the year, regardless of outcome, drink gets next year. Only if horn is the starter the rest of the season. If he keeps Cook as the starter, depending on how the rest of the season plays out, we need to reevaluate either getting an OC or getting rid of Drink.

I'll be VERY, VERY shocked if Horn plays next week unless we're down big. If drink didn't play Horn at home vs Vandy, or auburn/UF, he's not going to do it at this point with bowl game still in reach, and on the road vs a T25 team(somehow).

I really hope I'm wrong here, I just don't see it.

He’s reached the flailing point of his Mizzou tenure. The ship will right or it won’t. Maybe by his doing. Maybe by luck.

This seems correct. I'd say Drink knew he was at this point several weeks ago when he lashed out at fans.

I agree. Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with the Drink hire, but have quickly soured on him. The lack of adjustments is what really eats at me. The guy can recruit, he has proven it. That being said, if he doesn't make the correct adjustments on the offensive side of the ball. What are we even doing?

In this day and age, defense does not win championships. It's an intricate piece to winning, but you can't win on defense alone. He has to develop a QB and create some impactful offense.

What game outside of the KState game did his game plan not put us in a position to win?

It’s hard to win when your offense sucks. We have a terrible QB. We don’t have a good OL and we don’t have good RB’s.

Even in the KState we don’t know. We threw 4 INT’s and we had bad field position all game. The KState game was the worst offensive game we have had. Even worse than Vanderbilt

In the KState game Martínez threw for 101 yards with 0 TD’s. He rushed 13 times for 52 yards and a TD. How many games does KState win if Martinez has stats like that. They would go 3-9 or 4-8

His game plan can only do so much. The players have to execute. What is he supposed to do. He put the team in a position to win and they don’t execute.

We don’t know what kind of coach he is because Odom left him one offensive player and last year Drink’s offense ran through Badie.

Those are all direct indictments of the person you are trying to defend.

I guess you didn't know the history of Missouri recruiting. Drinkwitz tried to get a good quarterback from transfer portal. Brought 3 quarterbacks in and all went elsewhere. Horn isn't ready and not risking his development with bad OL and the game being close and give him a chance when team has a bi lead. Never happened. Next year with some OLs coming in and others back from injuries. Plus, some not played at all as rookie. That is why I said next year should be the year. I also think Drinkwitz should hire an OC to take the heavy load off on trying to do everything. He should focus on being the HC. Yes, he should look over and communicate with the DC and OC. Making sure everthing is on track. I am frustrated too about the offense not scoring many points. No way Drinkwitz is getting fired unless he somehow loses the team and recruits. Good players starting to transfer out. I do not see this happening. One more year to get the offense fix. He did fix the defense this year. Now it is the offense turn to be fix. I am a true believer that Drinkwitz will get it done like he did with the defense this year.
If no OC hired but he hires a quarterback coach. That might work if he is knowledgeable on offense. I trust the AD will make the right decision at the end of the year.

Yes.

Anyone wanting to fire the best recruiter in school history 2.5 years into his tenure is a legitimate low functioning retard.

Luckily, low functioning retards don’t make decisions like this. They peck angrily on message boards

That’s not really a defense of Drinkwitz.
