Hearing rumors that Baylor is seeking admission into ACC

They're pissed that the Big 12 didn't fight for them to receive a playoff spot even though they beat TCU head-to-head and according to Big 12 bylaws actually won the conference outright.
Anyone else hearing this rumor?

While it wouldn't surprise me, where are you hearing this?
I think the Big 12's collapse is inevitable if they can't get a couple more good schools to join and fast.

Yeah. Baylor feels like a flash in the pan. Briles has made that program. I'm not sure there's a definite sustainability to their football success. And they don't have the alumni base or fan support to force cable companies to pay instate dollars for ACC games in Texas.

Seriously, guys...I'm not trollin. I heard it last night on sports radio. And even they reported it as only a "rumor".

It's taking everything in my power not to go troll kU boards right now. Since 2010 the Big 12 has lost Nebraska, Colorado, Texas A&M, and us.
Their replacements: TCU, West Virginia, and now possibly Cincinnati and Memphis.
Remember how they were trying to convince us that the Big 12 would be better off without us and the others that left?

From a business perspective this would be great for the ACC. Getting the TV audience in Texas as part of their TV footprint would be a steal. Even though most fans in Texas aren't Baylor fans.
Would be worth it to the ACC.

The B12s biggest problem is that it has too many little brothers that don't carry their weight. The ACC doesn't want another one in their conference.
Cable companies aren't going to be able to charge all Texans for the ACC network by adding baylol.

because the ACC isn't stretched out geographically enough as it is, they really REALLY SHOULD have to cross the big muddy and travel to a podunk school in podunkinville USA...

Nobody's leaving the Big 12 until texas leaves the Big 12, even then they'd have to take enough members of the Big 12 along with them to dissolve the conference.
Unless someone can get the GOR nullified or Baylor finds a home for three other schools it's not happening.
