Solid analysis. I think you follow this team with your heart and not your brain and eyes.

Maybe take a step back and try watching this team with a different perspective. Try not just looking for what the TV talking heads say since they don't watch every play of every game. It is ok to form your own opinions.

If that is what I was doing wouldn’t I buy into the goofy shite these idiots said about Albert O?

You’re not making any sense, and anybody calling to bench our most talented player hasn’t even a small clue of what they are talking about.

I’m glad you take time to form your own opinions, now try to get away from the shitty ones

I really want to know what is going on with the huge drop off of playing normal football as a team in the last 3 weeks! There must be some kind of rumors going around that someone got from others at the school or at the other sites. Something is really wrong here! This is not normal! Barry have not done this before! Is this a sign of players/coaches fighting each other or are they giving up? I do not think the coaching staffs would want to be fired and be out of work. So might be a couple of players that kind of gave up? I see one potential Kelly Bryant. Anyone else you think might be the mole or the cause of the problems?
I wish Robinson was able to play. Because he probably would have taken over for KB when he was hurt/struggling.
Also notice there is no one else to compete against KB! All others were either not ready/rookie and or just not good enough. Robinson might have taken over the starting job if he played well and keep the job? It is always better to have two guys competing each other and try to push to the next level. I guess there was none of that since KB was the only best player available. That a too bad!

One thing I think would be a great idea if BO some how keep his job, he must make some coaching changes. Like the receiver coach. That is one issue I see and I am not sure about quarterback whisper? I think it was just bad fit for Kelly Bryant. Robinson? I have no idea but he is also a dual threat. But I think he might be better since he will have 2 years and will compete with Bazelak next year. That will be healthy to push each other to the next level.
One good quarterback whisper I can think of is Chase Daniel?

Barry Odom has a 3 game losing streak in every season he's coached.

I think it has been confirmed that Odom all but guaranteed the QB1 role to KB while recruiting him. How do you think that went over to the other QB's and players on the team who have trained and been conditioned to compete and EARN their playing time...the foundation of competitive sports is to compete with your teammates and earn your role on the team. KB did not have to do this, maybe it's causing a fracture. Maybe BO has anointed starting roles to other players and it's starting to catch up with him. IDK, just a hunch...but for players who have had to EARN it since peewee ball, only to see a transfer step in and be anointed is a bad look for the coaching staff and breeds distrust.

LOL Chase Daniel is not coming here for anything else other than Homecoming to see his former teammates.

The guy is going to be an NFL lifer and there is talk that when he retires he's got at minimum an offensive analyst/OC position from Sean Peyton and basically everyone in the Reid tree that's a head coach.

Yep. I feel very confident that whatever is going on in the locker room, it centers around something to do with KB. I'd say your theory is the most likely. Perhaps Albert O is the leader of the disgruntled faction of the team.

LOL, of course they guaranteed KB the job and that’s exactly what they should have done. He wasn’t going to transfer anywhere that he didn’t have the starting job, and of course nobody was making comments anything like this when he was being recruited.

Y’all have seen Taylor Powell play football, right?

Imagine for a moment, Odom wouldn’t guarantee KB the job and he went somewhere else because of that and it became public....

Y’all would have ripped him to shreds and rightfully so

That is not what I mean. I meant to say is when he starts to get his team going and stays hot to the end. But this time he failed top go to the end. Also November is suppose to be good month for BO. So I am disappointed that quarterback is one of the problem. No one else worthy to take over when he is hurt or struggling on the field.

I agree with this. If there’s an issue between KB and the rest of the team, it’s not really because Odom promised him the job. He’s obviously the best QB available. He may just not be a great fit chemistry wise. Or he may struggle as a leader. Or a million other things. But it likely has little to do with Odom.

Well i have seen many red zone trips end with a field goal after being inside the 10 because KB pulled it when he clearly should have given the ball to a RB, only to get stuffed for a minus 7 yards loss. Trust me running backs notice that, especially when you lose the team yards when they could have scored. Receiver notice when they are open and all you have to do is throw it in front of them and you dont. He is not an awful quarterback but i do miss Drew Lock.Certain players should be benched for their actions and are not such as Kam Scott. I think Bannister could be a TJ Moe type producer 70 catches 800 yards if given the opportunity, much better hands than anyone else they have at least.

I think the root is KB for some reason or it at least includes him. I also do not think Robinson may be the next QB up, Bazelek showed he has a nice confident calm demeanor and he throws strong and accurate. Robinson was not a world beater at TCU, he threw 9TD and 8 Int just saying, i hope he is a stud but until i see him killing it in a tiger uniform color me dubious.

All I am saying is you don’t preach that PT is earned only to use PT to lure a player. Yah you will win some and lose some, but look at the talent UGA has had leave because Fromm best out the other 5*’s in the pipeline...and guess what, UGA is doing just fine. If you give anything that is not earned, eventually it will implode...opportunities are not given.

I think you are touching on a recruiting difference between the elite bluebloods and second-tier teams like MU here. Top players won't consider second-tier teams without playing time promises because so many coaches are willing to make that promise.

Bluebloods have enough other top players they don't have to play that game. If they lose a top 5-star for not making any promises, they go get the next one in line. Second-tier teams do not have this option.

This may be part of the problem for teams that have 2-3 years of great recruiting out of nowhere and then don't do much with it. Butch Jones at Tenn anyone? A&M?

I am worried this may be part of what is going on at Illanoy with some of their recent recruiting wins. Easy to hand out promises when you are at rock bottom. Trouble is, it often takes a couple of years for these promises to start causing problems.

I talked to another person who is slightly in the know (whatever that means) and he confirmed what you guys are saying and said that something happened right around when they got ranked and it'll all come out after the season is over. He said he didn't know though and it was serious.

*edit* - does anyone have a powermizzou subscription? that board usually has more info than this one.

He struggled at tcu, as of now, I think Bazelek is the starter next year
