I don't know why, but Gabe reminds me of Bernie in some ways. Talk like they know everything yet the reality is they know very little. They spout so much bullshite that the one time they are right turns into them always being right.

If these 3 coaches were on your list to be hired, which means your first hires list, then Sterk needs to be fired after all of this stuff is done and over.

You can't be this incompetent and continue as an AD at a p5. This isn't San Diego St.

They are still referencing the meeting that never happened. I guess hoping no one really looks. That list only existed in Sextons mind as he palmed it to Farrakker to stir shite in the Lou.

An official BoC meeting never happened. It’s certainly possible that Sterk talked to a couple BoC members during the process

As long as they turn in their journalist's card. No free food at the game anymore.

Rate the possibility that Sterk’s final three candidates were Holtz, Anderson and Monken as a percentage.

90% higher than the coach being locked in by Wednesday. Evening.

2 of Sterks football coaching hires were Paul Wulff who went 9-40 and Bill Doba. Doba actually started great with Mike Price players. Then had a losing record in 4 of his last 5 seasons. The non losing record was a 6-6 season.

Lol. You’re comparing a Washington State hire to Mizzou.

His hires at Wash St. were for about 25% of Pinkel’s salary at the same time.

less that 1%

and those were two bad hires in any circumstance.

Doba's wife was diagnosed with cancer shortly before he got promoted and died before the 2006 season. Her battle and death took him away from his duties. He never coached again after leaving Pullman.

Also - someone correct me if I'm wrong - I've heard that Mizzou is in debt and having to use school funds to pay Drink and his staff's salary?

Yep. They had to collect and cash in all the aluminum cans on campus to fuel the jet to go pick him up. The AD is in financial ruin.

I dont really care where the money comes from (I donate to TSF) as long as we have a coach who knows what game management means.

The school picked up the tab for the NCAA fine. That was it. The AD doesn't get money from the the university outside of that.

Holtz - 5%
Anderson - 20%
Monken - 3%
