Where did the betting odds come from? Was it you made it up so Bryan Harsin is the one going to Mizzou? Look at Washington! He is now not so great and is not going to be elite head coach. Same thing I am seeing here with Brian Harsin. Blake Anderson might be the better pick for Mizzou.

Odom got fired because of money. No asses in the seats. Sterk is going to fix that problem first. Hes going to increase the entertainment value of Mizzou football, hence Kiffin. OL play notwithstanding. FAU wins games with Kiffin, crowds return just to see what he does. This ain't about football, it's about revenues. After the budget stabilizes we can talk long term quality coach.

I agree Clawson (or better yet Clark) are better football options, but neither moves the needle for the avg Mizzou fan. Neither has the star power to turn the recruiting tide in St Louis. Neither will have ESPN segments. Kiffin will.

I don’t think you target the average fan with this hire. They will come if the team wins. Hire a coach that you think can win and win big. Once the teams shows that it can win those fans will be there.

Don't laugh. In younger days rock bands, it was guitar, sometimes drums and keyboard and vocals. Usually my Fender Stratocaster was my main deal.

Later came "old time" bands: I alternated on Guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, upright bass, dobro, and vocals.

"Retired" from it some years back.

Well, my best source just asked me how happy folks will be next year with our new coach...I won't mention his name, but I'm assured he no longer has a mullet.

Nice. I fill in on keys with a top 40 band in STL and every once in a while we do an INXS tribute show. It’s a blast.

You bet it's a blast. Glad you get to play. INXSis not in my generation...but then again, not sure what generation I'm in to go from riffs of "Brown Sugar" and "Honky Tonk Women"...to banjo frailing "Soldier's Joy" and "Black Mountain Rag."

Recruiting 4 and 5 stars is a must! Look at Washington. got blown out when they made it to the playoff. Just have not been the same and get blown out to rank teams that are in 10 ten. I know it is going to take a miracle to find that head coach to coach at Mizzou! No more cheap pay! that will not cut it!

What you think will bring in 4 and 5 stars players? Better recruiter! How you get that recruiter? Got to pay up to get those 4 and 5 stars to come to Mizzou! Come on man did Mizzou fans not see what the last few hires were not good top notch recruiter that can bring fans back to the stadium! Rule is not going to waste any more time supporting an average head coach at Mizzou. That is what it been all those years. Others are upping the ante. Mizzou got to do the same or we will be bottom feeders. Maybe better than Odom but will still be bottom feeders. Got to take the next step up! Only way to get 4* and 5* recruits to take Mizzou seriously! I would love an OC or DC at LSU or one of the powerhouse that are currently ranks top 10!

Recruiting 3* and then coaching them up is not working here in Mizzou! Wake up! Need to focus on attracting 4* and 5* to Mizzou. That is only way to get fans to Mizzou games. I am not bullshittting you! Look around all the top teams are 4* and 5* recruits! Why not make a change for once! I am tired of same old crappy football. What have fans learned from doing the same old thing?

I am frustrated with this crappy same old thing. I am hoping for change for the better for the "Show Me" State. Not being a laughingstock all over again. Got to make the change now!

Let wait and see approach was what I have seen on here when BO was hired. Same thing if we go that route all over again!

You can take a wait and see approach as long as Sterk believes that coach will win big eventually. That’s the only way a coach like Brady makes sense.

But Brady is not coming to Mizzou! That is what I am upset. He can find a good OC and DC and run the football team. Who is smart to begin with.
