One person posted was a done deal but might be a troll. You are right I fell for it!

Done Deal. That’s why Mizzou made the call quickly. Hope this doesn’t distract LSU against A&M.

In the Sterk Presser, he declared no search firm, and expects the hire to be quick, within a couple of weeks.
Must know who he wants, and think's he'll get him.
This worries me just a bit, for some reason.

Cause that's the way he hired Counzo?

I'm guessing Clark if it's that fast. UAB to Mizzou is an easy decision.

Just shut up Lefty, no one believes that crap. Except you, apparently.
Posted on 11/30/19 at 6:17 pm to TrueLefty
You're the only person who actually believes.

I’ve seen reports that we’ll use the same firm that we used to hire Cuonzo...oh boy

I read he is using Parker Executive Search, in deed the same firm as the CM hire.

I'd bet it's a done deal with only the contract language to be finalized. Sterk didn't just start shopping on Friday after the Arkie game.

Actually he said they're using the same firm they used for Cuonzo....

I think he already has his man, and the agent has the offer, and both sides just waiting on the season to play out for this coach.

And if you read into it getting done in 2 week-ish, would mean after Conference Title games are over.
LaLa head coach?
Memphis head coach?

No, it won't sizzle. It will draw scowls from some, acceptance by others, and optimism from the always-hopeful. The majority of casual fans couldn't even name 4 SEC head coaches, much less know the candidates...so they won't give a shite.
I'd also bet the discussions started soon after Wyoming, and got to serious pencil sharpening by mid-season losing streak.

Well if it’s Dave Clawson you damn sure know it ain’t got nothing to do with conference championship games LOL
Posted on 11/30/19 at 9:31 pm to JesusQuintana
Clawson won conference championships at each of his previous HC stops. You trying to prop up that Conference USA title?
Posted on 11/30/19 at 9:44 pm to navynuke
Would you take Clawson over Napier or Clark?
