Lol. It is why the whole coaching staff was fighting. It was why Shipp got fired with a week left in the season. It was why Hargreaves sent his resume out every year. It was why him and Andy Hill were barely functioning as coworkers. It was why Elarbee bailed. It was why we ended up with Dooley. It was why Kul tried to salt the earth on the way out. It was in part why Sterk was done with him.

There’s a lot of false information there. I get it. Feel free to believe the stuff that not true. Odom made enough mistakes to get himself fired, that you don’t have to be naive and believe what’s not true.

Feel free to correct any of it specifically.

Elarbee didn't even bother to call him to say he was leaving. lol

What's not adding up is why he had so many coaches (and now Sterk) who not only didn't like him, but went out of their way to disrespect him, juxtapositioned with players and former players who apparently loved him and were upset with the firing.

From where I sit it looks like the top job made him go full Captain Queeg.

Because Odom is two faced. He's one of those guys that publicly acts one way and then behind closed doors is an arrogant assclown

The funniest part thing about this whole thing is the pro Odom firers says no one knows what goes on behind closed doors with Sterk. And the anti Odom firers tell people no one knows what went on behind closed doors with Odom.

Just a funny observation.

Odom failed not because Hill doesn’t love him, but because he lost 2-3 games a year that he shouldn’t have.

When you try to fire Hill and aren’t allowed to and then move his office to the end of the hall and try to ostracize him, people may notice and think “He may be a dick.”

Odom is a small, petty guy. I’m sure he’s a good uncle to you.

What if he is an analyst for Alabama next season then spends the next 4-5 seasons at a blue blood as an assistant/coordinator before getting another chance when he’s 50?
if he does that, and can recognize and work on his weaknesses in the process, he will probably be a damn good HC. Not everybody can do that though, especially the recognize part

Haley stayed in Mizzou because he has an autistic child.

That’s part of it. He also has a great relationship with Odom and Walters.

Did you notice how quiet the Mizzou and STL media was yesterday?

No new stories about the BOC or “here’s where we stand”?

They got played again. Just like with Painter. And all the posters saying “but they wouldn’t stake their credibility on something they haven’t verified!!” were wrong.
