I'm starting to join the Willie Taggart bandwagon
Guy is young, and is doing a hell of a job at USF, considering what the program was like when he took over(holtz left a dumpster fire)
Connections to Florida recruiting, and he brings in an Ace for Georgia and surrounding areas.

Fuente is going to get over 3 mil from Memphis.

Hey everyone long time no talk!
Im really on the Odom bandwagon. Promote him and make Kul the DC. It would still be Odoms defense, Kul gets the promotion he deserves. The only thing I worry about is how the offense will be handled. I wouldnt mind one of the smaller school guys as HC because you look and see what JM is doing in Florida, Kelly in ND and so on. But theres always that chance you get an Al Golden.

I heard he turned that down.

He'd be stupid not to say thank you, I will consider it, along with any others. Surely Herman would say the same thing.

Babcock and VT can offer between 4-5 mil and a realistic shot at the playoff. Mizzou, Miami, USC, & USCe can all do the same.

Does anyone know if Odom and Kul have a good relationship to where he'd want to stay?
Kul was obviously disappointed GP passed him over for Odom, but have then been any lingering hard feelings?
I dont know but when asked a question last week in Dave Matter's tiger forum, he was asked the question if Odom and Kul would leave together to go somewhere together.

I would not expect Odom to bring Kuligowski with him nor expect Kuligowski to go with him.

Matter always knows more than he will say and my interpretation of this is they don't have love for each other
I expect they would stay together if Odom is HC and Kul goes to DC but if there's a new HC Odom is gone and Kul stays.

As great a dc Odom is I prefer to keep kul honestly. The guy has national appeal.

I just read it as they are not tied together, why would they be, theyve only worked together for a year.
Posted on 11/21/15 at 9:14 am to TigerCruise
They have actually worked together much longer than that.
Odom spent 3 years as the Safteys coach, prior to that he spent a few years on staff, just not as an official coach. So they really have 7-8 years of working together.
Henson is more interesting, supposedly Odom was a major reason why he joined Mizzou's staff to start with.

Why wouldn't Odom want to keep Kul.
Seems silly. Of course he would.

To me the question is does anyone know if Kul wants to stay with Odom?
I could see every team in the SEC wanting to add Kuligowski.

Why isn't Kul getting any play as HC?

That's a thought I haven't yet seen discussed. Great question. At this point in time, I can see us hiring Odom, that is if the other big 2 are not interested in the job. Although not the sexy hire many want, I can see the rationale behind it that has been brought up already.
If Mizzou chooses Odom, let's hope Kul is on board.

I saw Beckner's mom said she and her son want coach Kul to be his coach no matter what. Also saw the same thing regarding Andy Hill & Drew Lock.
Those are our 2 huge pieces for the next 2 years at least and going forward, hopefully we can keep them happy.

Not many coaches jump from position coach to HC. He's only in his 40's so if promoted to DC here or somewhere else next year he may be in consideration in a few years.

They won't transfer.
Agreed. That's a threat from his mom at best. He only has 2 years to go and would have to sit next year and he's too close to the NFL to start over somewhere else.
