Curious what some of you are thinking about the rest of the season now.

We don't have a second PG now... this is like an inverse of last season.

I still think it'll be a good year, but probably lose a couple more than we would have with him. I still think we're top 4 SEC and a tournament team.

Anyone that says it doesn't affect our team this season is lying.

Now we don't have a 2nd ball handler like Dixon, but I have huge expectations for Jabari Brown so hopefully he lives up to those. I think NWC can become a good ball handler throughout the year, and we will need him to.

It affects our team, but I think we are still a really good team so hopefully it doesn't end up hurting us too much.

I thought we were a top 10 team with Dixon, I would say top 20 definitely, maybe top 15.

That young man just had A LOT more pressure thrust on him when he joins in a few weeks.

Honestly when I was really thinking about the season, I really didnt expect him back. Last night started to change my mind but at this point I would go back to original though. I see Jabari stepping in and being a good contributor. I saw that all along.

One one hand it does, but not really that much.. the team obviously takes a hit losing Dixon, but their ceiling and floor is still about the same.

My expectations were elite 8 with a chance at going to the final 4, and that hasn't changed. Neither has my expectation on our chances to win the SEC.

I think Brown will step in and make us wonder how we could get him worthy minutes if Dixon was still on the team. And maybe they adjust Bells role to focus more on scoring.

Top 4? We still better not slip that far.

It's really not a slip, the top 4 in the SEC this year will all be pretty close.

UK, FLA, MU and TN or AL

Thats where I'm still at as well. I think a top 3 finish in the SEC is still well within reach and honestly I think with Brown back this team is built much better for a Tourney run this year.

Should still be top 3.

Bell and Ross find themselves.
Brown becomes a 5 star player.

A ball handler materializes to give Phil 10 mins spell in game.

We still are a dangerous team.

I expect the NCAA to rule us ineligible for the tournament right after we win the SEC tournament.

They should hand out black and gold cups to TSF donors.

It doesn't alter my expectations, but does take away from team depth and ability to produce results I seek.

If there is an upside to this, team may come together and gel faster, stronger to fill the void left by MD.

Please, BJ, I want Mizzou to at least make Final Four this season....

Be interesting to see how takes him.. I don't see anyone of relevance taking the PR hit for taking him. I'd put him in honeybadger territory.

And doesn't help he's a senior.

Tonight was the first night in which I actually considered if we were jinxed or not.

This from article in KC Star...

Dixon, who has been suspended by the team since October for what coach Frank Haith called “a violation of team rules,” said in a statement released by the Tigers athletic department Thursday night that he will look to play at another school. Read more here: LINK

So which schools do think will court him? punny me

Just checked "who's on board" Only 32 of us dingbat members still active, with me being the only holdout for Mizzou. Guess none of our shift workers on duty tonight. The rest of you were smart enough to go to bed! btw, there are 922 lurkers....who are these people?
