We are on the same page, once again. It is not like I am burying my head or condoning/excusing the situation. I am trusting that the lesson from Penn State scandal, surely has opened the eyes of top administrators and board of trustees. This is not to say that accusations toward Dixon are like the PSU situation; just the importance of university officials' need to be aware of all the facts.

I have always heard it was funny also, being that this happened then he was just chatting with her roommate for the next 2 hours no problem. But I trusted the staff being that upon meeting with Pinkel he was dismissed immediately.

I don't see a drop. They have improvements to make as it is now. Dixon would have added that outside threat and also he is a great ball handler and can drive the lane well.
But we need to see what JB can contribute to the team before we can say one way or another if Dixons departure will affect the team in a negative way.
Remember, this team has a different identity this year with the new players but also a different style of play.
I think how well these players are going to gell is a bigger factor for thier success than whether Dixon is on the team or not.

This will undoubtably not go over well with you guys, and I won't say anything further...
I just find it funny that people take such interest in the details of events like this, they put faith in their own ability to connect the dots, and put stock in such things as common sense. Trying to apply the full context to figure out the whole truth. Yet on bigger issues we usually do the opposite.
Fun facts of the day: Two men that attempted an assassination on Jimmy Carter were named Raymond Lee Harvey and Osvaldo Ortiz (Osvaldo translates to Oswald). The family of the man who shot Reagan was close friends to the Bush family. The gunman's brother was scheduled to have dinner with Neil Bush the next night, and his family gave huge financial contributions to Bush during the primary. One more fact, Prescott Bush (father of George Bush) had his assets seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act. He had enormous connections to the Nazi's, all proven without a doubt. But he started the USO in 1941 to ease his punishment when investigation into his Nazi connections starting heating up. Oh yeah, back to whats important.. so the football player mushroom stamped and fingered the sleeping roommate, then came out and talked to another girl who later would get used by the basketball player. I just want to make sure I have the important details down before I put myself into a television hypnosis.

When I was 12, my mom told me to pick up the dog shite in the back yard. I was 12 so I just moved it into a big pile in a corner of the yard where no one could see it.
