Didn’t see the stat sheet in conference play. Third year here. Probably a good move for him.

I don’t care if Drink is cocky. In fact, I’m happy to hear that. Mizzou is full of milquetoast, uninspiring, pushovers from top to bottom.

It’s about time someone in Columbia had a pair of testicles and set some higher expectations. I hope Drink is the biggest A-hole in Columbia if it means changing the charmin soft culture of Mizzou athletics.

I think your thoughts are misguided. People thought Odom was an a-hole too. Pinkel, on the other hand, reportedly was not an a-hole.

*edit* update:

Daniel Parker thanks Barry Odom and Andy Hill for recruiting him, does not mention Drink in any way.

Agreed he goes there.

I see why he left, Nikko was taking his reps, and a few 4* TE's coming in ready to play.

They lose like 15 starters including Burks, but yeah I’d be surprised if he didn’t end up there.

I highly doubt that Woods is going anywhere.

Yeah. After I read a little about him, it’s doubtful.

Correct on Odom, but he didn’t really have the moxie to go with it. He simply didn’t get along with people and was stubborn (from what I’ve heard) but was otherwise kind of bland.

Drink may be hard to work with and stubborn, but he definitely has a certain attitude and salesmanship about him that gets people on board. The record recruiting success speaks for itself there.

And Pinkel certainly softened up after 2005, I’ll give you that. But Gary Pinkel is a pretty high bar to compare to

Good move hogging the schedule if it forced something new. Think anyone at Bama would say shite to Saban about scheduling facilities?

There are a lot of Odom leftovers on this team. It can’t be good for the locker room. The sooner they are gone the better. Not that they are good or bad, but anything that the new coach does can be perceived as a swipe.

Also, fvck this athletic department as a whole. Get rid of these whiners and let’s get some smarter people in there that actually care about winning-instead of whining about who schedules what, and whether or not someone is a meany.

If that indoor practice facility rumor is true that’s hilarious. Build Drink a statue just for that. Sharing an indoor sports facility with Olympic sports and the field isn’t even 100 yards is embarrassing for an SEC school, maybe any school, I mean look at Northwesterns indoor facility.

Yup, have to clear out the Odom guys. They’ll always feel slighted. Well except for Bazelak. Drink thinks he’s dreamy

Badie is an Odom guy and so where Bolton and Roundtree. All guys that Drink respected. One player he didn't get along with was Daniel Parker.

I've always thought it was weird when the new coach recruits really well, because what's the message to the current guys? Intentional or unintentional.

With these bluebloods losing coaches and if Drink flips a few guys plus plays the transfer portal right, Mizzou could have an epic 2022 class.

So do you have more than just an opinion on Drink being a phony? Or are you just gonna let it lay there?

I read last year where a couple of Mizzou players who were recruited by Odom who transfered last year and a staff member who was a holdover from Odom also said in quotes that Drink was a phony. I also read on a App St. forum after we hired Drink where there were some fans that also said it. I just assumed that they were butt-hurt that he left.

Daniel Parker thanked the fans and everybody else except Drink just recently. Gabe DeArmond also said that Drink and DP didn't get alone.

I through with this issue, because it goes on with a lot of teams and is kept under the surface.

happens all the time with disgruntled players and workers when they leave somewhere, hardly a pattern. Parker was a monster blocker but also an undisciplined player who did some dumb shite on the field. That being said he played hard and was a Tiger so I have and will support him.

I don’t see any of this as news. Guys are going to transfer every year. BTW we will do the same to others and bring transfers in. Good news is that I don’t think any of them hurt us. And Arky can have Parker. I thought he has regressed a bit but it could be due to his role changing

Jatorian Hansford hit the portal according to Matter.

I wonder if Drink is clearing house to make room for the new recruits? It would make sense based on who is leaving.

Our TE coach did turn out to be leaving, Casey Woods to be hired as OC at SMU
