Tx is a good defensive team and if they weren't missing their 3 best players they would be favored. With those 3 sitting out there is no way on paper we should lose this game.

But barry & Co. still haven't beat a team with a winning record and if it's close or we lose that portends bad things for next season and the sunshine pumpers will really have to step up their game (although I bet they are up for the challenge).

Arkansas was 7-6 in 2016. That’s BO’s win against a team with a winning record.

My goodness. You are relentless.

Why do you insist on perpetuating this is vs them crap?

We get it by now. You don't like BO and we all know you are desperately waiting for a loss to come here and pound your chest. It's ringing a bit hollow at this point though.

Despite your opinion, the best thing for Mizzou is for BO to succeed. Why you can't or refuse to acknowledge this is beyond puzzling.

Probably because that is his honest opinion. An opinion in which he's entitled too.

Doubtful he's looking for blessings from a message board pumper to justify his opinion.

BO still has a lot to prove. Most understand this.

As far as the Texas Bowl......I hope they destroy Texas. Grabbing win number 8 would be great.

I'm interested in recruiting/beating teams over 500/ and actually having the team ready the first half of the season.

Do this and BO's critics will embrace the improvements.

It really is that simple.

Turn off your little school girl butt hurt and let others post their opinion.

Who’s going to call plays in the bowl game now that Heupel is gone to UCF? That will level the playing field for Texas.

Let me help you out

They only beat Iowa State and Kansas state because of coaching mistakes by the other team

Oklahoma State was a close game but only because the big 12 refs screwed state to try to help the horns

They could easily be 4-8 right now, Maryland beat them like a drum.

And as another poster pointed out, they had a suspect defense that most thought was semi respectable but the best 4 players on the defense are not playing in the bowl and there are 0 good players to fill those spots

Also, their offense sucks, they cannot run the ball and the qb ran for his life all year, to make it worse, their best and only good o line man has announced that he’s leaving and won’t play in the bowl

ALL OF THAT.

And I want him to succeed, it would be for the best.

But he has a lot more to prove than six wins over teams that ranked from the 70's to the 120's. And we barely beat a last place OurKansas team to finish out that amazing streak

And his one good coordinator just left and Lock is fixing to go pro.

This Tx beat down better happen and everybody should enjoy it while they can

Good lord

You are the most pessimistic goofball I've ever seen.

Lock is not going pro.

Heupel getting a HC job means BO did a good job hiring him. The job is attractive. We will get another good OC.

This Texas game may be the last one we ever win...lol

they have one of the worst pass defenses in the country. I have to imagine Lock and Co will have a big day.

You might have been right. If the coaching staff would have attacked that pass defense. Players fault that the coaches didn't want to attack it.

Yeah. I have a feeling this is going to look more like the Arky game than the Vanderbilt game.

Prophetic.

Their one real strength has been run defense.

Excellent observation. I wonder why the coaching staff didn't see this going in?

With their best defensive players out we should be fine, although Tx having the 106 rated pass defense won't necessarily keep barry and the boys from running the ball 95% of the time

95% was hopefully for emphasis but damn prophetic again.

Sadly, you were right. I didn’t think the team would be this flat tonight.

Proud to say I upvoted this post the day it was made rather than hindsight being 20/20.

It was a trap!
