Nice.

But I always thought he had good security behind Brees because of their similar qualities and stature.

Also, after seein JFF longhorn tattoo...

Could you imagine if Chase had a jayhawk tat?

He's wanting to compete for a starting spot. Got a feeling it's wide open during camp. With Brees, he would be relinquished to #2 period. I thought he did just as well as Brees during pre-season, but it's hard to get over Brees's mound of money.

As far as the Tattoo's, it speaks volumes for Chase, he's 100% Mizzou Tiger. It would never happen anyways, it'd be like puting a Ford emblem on a Camaro. Just don't fit.

I just like the idea we have a QB with potential and I get to listen to all the beakers complain about having to chear for him now knowing he knocked them out of #2 in the nation. Poetic justice? Yes, it is.

ewww I didn't think about this, haha.

Would be hilarious if he won the job and they had to root for him.

Still think he is pretty much going there to be a backup with Alex Smith coming in, but wish him the best.

Always better to go for what you really want than stay behind to play it safe. Think he had a great thing in NO behind Brees, but can understand wanting to try to become a starter.

A much better situation for Chase than what he had in NOLA. Congrats Chase

Excited for Chiefs fans. I think he's got a real chance to make something happen there in KC.

In the right scheme Chase can be very successful.

I don't know if KC is the right scheme is the issue.

How great would it be if Reid could bring JMac in after this next season? Would love to see the Chase-Maclin connection working again.

Excited for Chase. Hope he wins the job. Would love to see him playing every Sunday. I would definitely watch more Chiefs games than Rams games on Sundays.

Pretty smart of Chase if you ask me. It's the right time. He's played backup for several years, learning from one of the best. It's the right place. There's probably only a small handful of places where the opportunity to win the starting job are as wide open as KC (Gabbert's job ironically being another). Wish him the best.
