LINK. Looks like Horn might get the start. Since Cook has established the starting job he could afford to rest the knee until LSU if necessary. No sense in being halfassed like he did last year with his shoulder.

that knee...please oh please let that be something that can actually heal and not be something that will be there all season.

We're going to actually get to see Horn for a game, needs to get lots of reps this week so they get used to his cadence

Wishes for a speedy recovery for Brady! He had an excellent game and convinced me his ceiling is higher than I thought.

That said, if he’s not ready to go and Horn gets the start, please, please Drink…don’t go back to conservative dink and dunk and playing not to lose. We finally saw what an excellent WR room brings to the table. Brady threw well, but there were some fantastic grabs in tight coverage. Horn supposedly has the arm. Let him air it out!

Also 2013 just saying, this was our same trajectory that year to Atlanta. Here's hoping Sam Horn is Maty Mauk of 2023

Look what Nick Saban did with his quarterbacks. This is a great idea so that Horn can step in a game if something goes wrong down the stretch this season. I said this is one of the better times to prepare for better team that Horn can get it done if Cook gets hurt or not doing so well. Two different kinds of style of play at quarterback is a good thing to have. Other team will have to prepare for both quarterbacks.

I think this could be more "keeping the cards close" again. I predict Brady is fine and starts but we'll see...

Brady played the whole second half with that knee. He even put together a game winning field goal drive.

Agreed he should heal if needed but I will be surprised if he doesn't start.

The issue with injuries like this is they stiffen up and swell as time goes on.

The fans are just starting to get behind Cook after the KSU game. If Horn starts and has a hell of a game, then the controversy starts all over again. No way Drink wants that. Cook starts.

Also in his hometown and Drink has shown he will play Cook even if injured. He'll be out there if he can walk

I also wonder about the condition of the turf in the dome after all these years. You know they haven’t kept up with it. Could be a dangerous place for someone with a bad knee.

Drink playing an injured QB. Name a better combo.

He has to eat this one. That Dome turf could further injure whatever he sprained. And frankly, Cook without full use of his legs, is still a limited QB.

The turf will be good and ready for the game Saturday, or they wouldn't get the game to be played this Saturday.

Hyperextended knee; no structural damage.

Back at practice today so it appears unless there’s a setback he will be good to go Saturday.

That's what's best for the team and the offense.
