That’s gonna be basketball for every team every year. Actually the fact they have already left once to come here means more likely they stay longer

Boogie Coleman in the portal. Would be great if we filled that spot with Jamarion Sharp

Know Miller but no clue who Sharp is? Only Sharp I know is a guard from MSU and he is nothing to crow about.

Jamarion Sharp. 7’5” center who can run the court and lead the nation in blocks. He’d totally change the outlook of our season

If able to pull both of them in and Miller is healthy this team could be very solid quickly.

Best part, Brown finally plays where he's best at, SF.
Don't expect Diarra to knock your socks off for a while, JUCO bigs take forever to get going.
I think Nick Honor actually starts over East.
With Sharp and Miller, I'd say its safe to say the floor will be 18 wins.

Kobe aint no SF. His ball skills are meh at best, defensively real SF are quicker and faster. His mid range and outside shots are atrocious.
Its like saying Chet Holmgren is a guard. Hes not a guard hes a real skinny Center.

And with Davis entering the portal, we have 2 spots. Coincidence?

Bc we’ve been forced to play him a lot at the 4. You can tell when he’s playing the 4 how frustrated he gets against other sec size. While he had done a great job for being asked to do that, imagine him at the 3. 90% of defenders will be his size or smaller, unlike at the 4. A SF doesn’t have to shoot 3s, it’s about match ups. Diarra will play the 4, yet spend a lot of time outside. This allows Kobe to bang down low still, but with shorter people defending him.
Kobe is also quick enough to guard an oppo small forward. Especially due to his length. No I don’t want Kobe guarding a combo guard.
Bottom line is diarra is an inside out big. Kobe will be playing downlow a lot even if a 3/sf. Now he just gets the mis match.

Nice. He looked fairly athletic in the brief clip I saw.

I wonder what changed his mind. You'd think he'd want the step up in competition.

Diarra is on board.
