1) Kim approached the athletic director after the LSU game and asked to finish the season. The athletic director agreed.

could Frank come here? Don't know his contract but couldn't it say no to conference teams?
Also, we may just be a temp spot for him. He has always said coaching at the U or in Florida would be big for him, and Jim larranaga is 67, he could be waiting for that if its offered..

He could turn things around quickly. Coach speak is what it is but he has always spoke highly of MU basketball. he would like a chance to tap into the local recruiting pool and sell winning at home. I do like some other coaches as well but Martin would put people in the seats again.

Frank Martin would win.
I just don't like his style of basketball. I like winning, but I prefer to win in a wide open style rather than a meat grinder.

I wouldn't worry about if he leaves.
If he or any coach is here for 4-5 years and leaves because he had success, that's a good thing.

SC to Mizzou is NOT a lateral move. For fricks sake. SC is one of the worst P5 basketball programs in the entire country. The Mizzou job is infinitely better.

Oh for fux sake SC is a P5 school in the same division of the same conference as us that is similar in size and fan base. In this century our record isn't even that much better. They are currently kicking our arse.

He'll, as bad as we've been recently we have been to the tournament 5 times since they last made it. 11 times since the time they made it before that.

USCe has 1 NCAA appearance in the last 20 seasons.
The only reason they are better now is that they have Martin a top 15-20 coach, and Mizzou has KA among the worst D1 coaches.

If we could get him that would be great. He's turned South fricking Carolina into a tournament team. He won at least 20 games every year at KState. Went to the tournament 4 of 5 years. Made the Elite 8. Has a winning record in the dance and he's only 50.
