We make the most sense. We have the worst QB situation I've ever seen, and we have the Shane Beamer connection.

Ours is just as bad but we have a stacked WR room. We just need the QB to really take off

If you can watch the GA 7A high school championship next weekend, he's coming next season.

I thought it was hype so I drove over and watched the game.

Sam Horn is the best QB that will attend Mizzou since Chase Daniel.

Horn definitely has some Trevor Lawrence in him from watching his highlights. I would take Rattler for next season, but not if it was going to deter Horn's development at all. He is the future for Mizzou

Ever watch him throw? Ever read ANYTHING about his game? That’s why

I'd imagine we've both seen his 17 pass attempts, but I'd love to read anything you got saying he can't hack it as a QB.

Rattler is not much better

What? Where are you guys coming up with this at?

Rattler was in one of the better offenses in the nation against porous Big 12 opponents and he struggled and eventually got benched.

I don't think he moves the needle in the SEC.

I'm never defending Bazelak, I'm just saying how much does Rattler change our win total? It's over/under 1 win.

We have no idea what the effect of having Rattler would have been because we never saw the true offense with CB. I do know Rattler could throw the ball to intermediate and deep routes. Mizzou lived all season on short throws. Both made bad decisions this year, and the case could be made that CB should have been benched. So between the 2, I lean toward the kid who has the arm strength to throw deep.

Who said he couldn’t hack it? I said he doesn’t have a passing game AND HE DOESN’T but that doesn’t mean he can’t develop one.

We could definitely use him and he would put up big numbers with the WR room we will have next year

based on what?

He was put into a perfect situation and failed. I'd rather have Macon and horn battle it out for 1 and 1a qb spots

My original post stated, "why are we down on him" and that we should give him the next month with the 1st team and let have the bowl game to see what we have in him.

I guess I just inferred from your reply to that...

Bc he doesn’t have even remotely what anyone would call a passing game

This narrative is silly.

He was phenomenal in 2020 and had one bad game in 21 and Riley pulled him. Very similar stats to Williams anyway for 21.

And Rattler was throwing to much better players than Bazelak was

Bazelak was SEC newcomer of the year...hes been playing on one leg and Macon cant throw or read defenses yet Cook the jury is still out and if you watched our AD on the bowl announcement with Drink that was scary
..like I've said before too many actors in college sports and She gets an Academy Award she is awful

Lebby moving on to OU?
Does that increase our chances with Rattler?

That is unexpected, nice pickup for SC. I’m also glad I get to keep rooting against that dbag

I think it’s a great get for you. Changes the whole outlook of your season imo.

Dude has legitimate top 10 pick ability. There is obviously some baggage too, but the talent is undeniable

Classic million dollar arm 5 cent head. Fascinating to see how Beamer works with it.
