He has playmaking ability with his legs, but the winner of the forthcoming QB battle will be the guy who can deliver the ball to our playmakers on the perimeter, and down the field with the most accuracy.

At first I was hyped about the possibility of him coming here... the more I think about it I would be ok without.

At first I was worried about losing Macon or even Cook. But how I see it is no one would leave till after fall camp. At that point the player leaving would be the one last on the depth most likely. I dont see whoever that player may be jumping 2 spots in the next year(bridge year) to Horn.

Former St. Louis and current Arizona Cardinals NFL writer Howard Balzer was on the radio in St. Louis this week and out of nowhere brings up this kid and essentially said he's a lousy thrower of the football.
Doesn't sound like much of a loss to me. Let's roll with Cook, Macon and Sam Horn.

Not sour grapes at all, but I am glad he didn't come here. I like what we have enough, and would rather have JT Daniels if we take a transfer.

Sounds like J.T. Daniels IS a possibility!
Side note: I still have confidence in our current QB room. So imo this is just a nice to have.

I thought Daniel's was a bust until I actually read up about him. True freshman starter at USC. Tore an ACL sophomore year. Transfers, earns playing time, decent stats, oblique injury last year, and Bennet catches fire at the end of the season. I like this kid, hope we get him.
