Hearing that Pittman and and Davis are talking and meeting with both Ray Curry and Jalen St John. Was hoping they would be back but I am sure they are more tied to Davis than anything.

looks like Antonio Doyle is announcing in 5 days. my hunch is illini but I would love to see a twitter pic with him next to Drink.

Yeah I think Doyle is going A&M, unless he decides Illinois because of his baby. I am hoping Drink and Brick stopped in and visited Curry while they were down visiting Elijah Young. Was hoping Wooten would come back also but he is gone. Visited VT over the weekend and announced today he is going to sign next Wednesday. Didnt say with who but hasn’t said a word about Mizzou since decommiting and has been talking up VT with another Texas DE recruit he made the trip with. Think we have a good shot with Montra Edwards.

This is an odd flip as Illinois has 10 at his position on the roster. If Haley is staying on as he appears to be, they are going to use a 4 man front and reps are there for the taking.

He grew up in the St. Louis area(I think) and his family moved to Florida.
I sometimes read the Illini board and their media was foaming at the mouth after we fired Odom saying that this was a good thing for them and recruiting. Read between the lines plus they are going bowling this season.

Yeah, you may be right, but not like we are loaded at end and have 3 others coming in. Unless Drink has someone else he has been talking to maybe. Guess we will see!

We still have 2 defensive ends commits up to this point for next year in Kevon Billingsley and Jalen Logan-Redding.
I hope he doesn't bring either of the 2 defensive ends commits from App St. with him
