We'll get Taylor if Auburn doesn't offer. Thompson seems like a true coin flip.

Thompson would be better served by learning under Haley. He needs a boat load of technique work and while Ruffin McNeil has been around the block, his body of work as line coach doesn't measure up.

Nebraska is the team that Mizzou will have to beat to get Taylor unless Auburn offers him a spot on the bench.
I really hope that Mizzou gets this kid, because I love his physical play at safety.

I'm not worried too much about Nebraska. I'm not sure who Auburn needs to land, but hope whoever it is they do.

Have to say, that I'm seeing a pattern. Now that Frost is HC, Nubs seem to follow up with offers to players we offer:
Mills, Swinson, Martinez (lost him to Nubs) and now Taylor.
IMO, I expect Nebraska to recruit heavily in Missouri even more, AND continue to offer out-state kids we offer because Frost thinks he can out recruit us.

With Prewitt suspended maybe that gives Taylor an incentive to come here. Safety positions are wide open. A true freshman has a chance.

Nebraska has a 4 star safety that they are recruiting from Texas. If he goes to Nebraska, Taylor might not have options other than Mizzou.

OU's tradition vs Brick's recruiting. We've got to hold serve on Thompson or OU gets him and Perkins. That just sucks.

OU essentially demoted Thibodeaux who had been Thompson's primary recruiter. Thibs won't be his position coach and there were some grumblings that Thompson wasn't terribly impressed with McNeil.
Hopefully better coaching and being 2 hrs from Mom swings the vote.
