Don't think so. But I've been wrong before.

ETA - Think we were all in on Hentges last year.

Blanton was 2014. Moore played TE in high school, but he's a DE now.

Crawford committed to WVU last night. At this point I have no idea who or if we'll get any more recruits. I hope we can land Jacobs, but apparently Alabama is pushing hard for him and got the last visit. This recruiting class has been painful.

Brendan Scales, the star TE from Lafayette who committed to @AlabamaFTBL, had a great visit to @MizzouFootball this weekend. @haveachance

Still don't see it but I'm sure I'm wrong.

I think this is more of a statement of defending home turf. Yes Bama offered, but there is no risk for them because they process unapologetically. Maybe he developed. Caulken would be a beast if he didn't have the stone hands at times.

Alabama is still chasing 2 TE's who are both higher rated than Scales. I read they suggested that Scales visit Mizzou, who's recruiting him as an H-back. Seems like they're processing him out for one of the other TE's.

We just offered another 2* DT Dylan Hays from Little Rock. We're reaching guys, this isn't good. Kids committed to Central Arkansas with offers from SMS and Indiana. Hope this isn't the end of DLine Zou, cause these kids aren't SEC caliber it doesn't appear.

I'd rather not even offer if that's the case. Bank the scholarships and use them next year.

I would just forget about this class. The shitstorm on campus, Pinkel leaving, shite season etc. it's making it difficult. Besides, you know we'll get a handful of good players anyway.

15 was a great class, if we can sandwich this class with another good one in 17 we'll be just fine.

He's 6'4 280. So is bigger than most of the current guys on the line when they came here.

Which is why I'd rather just bank the schollies.

Sorry guys, we're recruiting him at OG, not DT, that was my bad. Honestly that makes even less sense since we were told that we passed on 4* Dowell and 3* Powell as we were done at OG.

This is kind of weird...

#Scout300 DT Keyshon Camp stayed home and didn't visit anywhere this weekend. Decision likely coming down to #Michigan, #Pitt and #Missouri.

We also did the same thing with Harold Brantley (2012), Charles Harris (2013), Walter Brady (2014), and Franklin Agbasimere (2015). They wait until the last week before signing day to offer an under the radar player they don't want anyone else to have the time to offer. If they offered this 2 star 2 months ago they would end having competition.

It's worked very well for the past 4 years, so why stop now? if half the class was 2 star, I'd worry.

Not arguing, but that was a completely different staff, so not sure those results apply here.

True but Odom would know the strategy. He was hired in Dec. 2014 and would have had it explained before last year's NSD.
Plus our two biggest recruiters, Andy Hill and Cornell Ford, were old staff.

That is true. If we're still looking for an OG, I really wish we'd take a look at Powell from Hannibal. If he's good enough for Stanford, he's good enough for us. Plus he's a local kid who grew up liking Mizzou.

If a kid is smart enough to get go to Stanford, then go to Stanford. Nothing against Mizzou, but I would recommend that to any kid in the country regardless of who they grew up liking. I have a feeling the staff realized that and didn't really pursue

Football smart for Stanford and regular admission for Stanford are two different things.
