Sounds like Raequan Williams is visiting Michigan State this weekend and may not take all 5 of his OV's. Not sure what that means for Mizzou. If I remember correct, he's got a top 4 of Iowa, Michigan State, Arizona and Mizzou.

Beckner will visit FSU this weekend for his first OV.

Absolutely sad story going on down there right now. Have to believe that dampens the atmosphere a bit down there. Think FSU cancelled all their classes today with that shooting.

Looks like that OV to FSU is next weekend, not this weekend.

The thing I like about our chances with Beckner is so far no strong dark horse has emerged. Some say tOSU. Some say Auburn. Some say FSU. Some say Oregon. I'd be much more concerned if they were all saying just one of those schools was making up ground on Mizzou.

Best I can determine is he hasn't visited yet. I guess there is talk of him cancelling one of his other visits and replacing it with Missouri. I think he goes to OU this weekend and visited Okie State last weekend. I think had or has a visit schedule to Texas Tech in December.

I don't know Beckner, but I would imagine that he believes he is a two year college player then he is pro bound. Therefore, he won't be waiting for his friend Strong to spend 2 years in Juco with the expectations of meeting up at Mizzou.

I want to believe that Mizzou still has a good shot at Beckner, but it would be much improved if he already has high school friends attending day 1.

You have to be in college 3 years before you can go to the NFL. He'd get to spend 1 year playing with Strong in that scenario.

Taylor will be there for 2, and Strong there for 1.

Again, I want to stress it's not a foregone conclusion Strong won't make it either. Id also like to stress that Beckner is a pretty much a Mizzou lock.

I've got a pretty good source on these guys.

Thanks for the info. I trust your source. I don't trust the mind of an 18 year old when it comes to these things. And that's no knock on 18 year olds. Just the nature of the beast. Speaking of beast...I'm hoping Beckner is mature beyond his years.

Right, that's why I said "pretty much". You just never know, but Id be absolutely shocked if TBJ is not a Tiger.

You would think they would have tutors with him day and night to coach him up on the ACT. Tests for the test.

Rumor has it Gundy is going to take that Florida job, if that happens you can take Okie State off that kids list.

Interesting, his brother Myles signed with GT over UGA and FSU to play with his brother, then his brother was dismissed from the team. Rather than enroll at GT he has went to prep school and is now the top prep player from 247 and is in the 2015 class. I'd assume they're a package deal, I wouldn't mind that if we miss on Westbrook.

Evidently they'd like to go to school together, but it's not a foregone conclusion that they will. Still, he left GT because of his brother's dismissal, so that says something. Would sound like an intriguing possibility.

Jared Pinkney 3* WR from Norcross GA plans to visit. He visited Nebraska for their big meltdown vs Minnesota and says he will still visit us, Miami, and UCF. He is a big 6'4 guy like we're used to, so it would be a good get for us.

Damn I like his tape. Not break away speed but already looks big and thick and physical. Blocks well down field. Not afraid of contact. Hard to bring down. Good hands in traffic or with guys draped on him.
