I agree about no shame. Alot of work went into having our APRIL as high as it is and it's really going to help having those extra practices.

I'm not ashamed. We had some tough breaks with a young inexperienced team. 3 plays from being 8-4. We had good wins over A&M and OM in Oxford.

I don't like the fact a 5 win team can make a bowl but hey it is what it is and the guys deserve it if they've earned a bid based on the rules

I'm OK with it.

If for nothing else, to have a few weeks of extra practices running full speed Oklahoma drills to figure out who really wants to hit on defense, and play those players next year.

I'll say it, the D this year has been full of pussies who not only lack basic tackling skills, but play like they are afraid to hit and get hit.

Las Vegas or Ft Worth... Is that correct? Navy would kick our shite in, but I am in either way.

That's what I'm hearing. I remember being at the Liberty Bowl when we got rolled by Air Force. Not looking forward to Navy.

That's a long wait. The expo is always in mid-January.

Las Vegas

Ugh I'd want to go to that game so bad. Mostly cause I love to gamble but I just got back from an expensive vacation so don't think I could afford a real Vegas trip unless I decide to put off buying a new ski boat for next summer

FT worth would be nice. I have a friend who lives in Dallas I could wing that trip

I funded a business for a gal that sold "stuff" to the adult entertainment industry. I still get emails about industry events. I never go to the events. I just know when they are. (OK, I went to the LA Lingerie Ball once.)

Suzanne was a TV psychiatrist. She was on all of the talk shows. She was uber hot at one time. She was the first Hispanic Rose Bowl queen, and she had to pretend to be Italian because Hispanics weren't allowed to compete. (CA wasn't so liberal then, now was it.)

BTW, she made a small fortune with her "toys". My investment paid off very well. I think she retired to New Mexico.
