Did she give a reason?

Went well. Family seems to want him at MSU due to the staff "wanting" him there vs bama "wanting" him only if they don't get "xxxxxx" and he is willing to grey shirt.
If you offer a grey, he's a dawg. He won't know that until signing day because Bama won't know until then.

He doesn't have a commitable offer.

On the 7th day he rested while watching the maroon tidal wave roll in

Oh, I don't know that? Let me tell you what I do know. Every day I come by this thread and I click reply. And we talk about recruits and we have a few laughs, and it's great. You know what the best part of my day is? It's for about 10 seconds from when I pull up the GrindRant to when I get to the recruiting thread. Because I think maybe I'll get up there and I'll scroll through the thread and Al won't be there. No goodbye, no see you later, no nothin'. Just left. I don't know much, but I know that.
Good Al Bundy.

the real reason?? no
Cory said (via twitter) his mom wanted him go thru the whole process and not rush to commit to anyone. Clearly she (his dad) had an issue with MSU somewhere we couldn't overcome, otherwise, he would have been locked up a LOOOOOOONG time ago. Then he commits to UT on his first visit there..

Yeah, he and a few 2 stars that you won't have heard of until tomorrow morning. Really frustrating to see we are missing on Cory even after UT is out of the mix, and more frustrating to hear that Griffin is leaning to Arizona.
Edit: How do you lose a DT to Arizona? I know its a long way from here to Washington but come on.. We have put 3 DT's in the league in the last 3 years, and will put at least another in each of the next 2 drafts.

Getting Tee was nice, but yeah...overall a disappointing class.

I don't really understand what information makes people believe this...

Because Rosebowl put it in his Scout bones. I hope he is wrong, but I have to assume he knows more than I do.

OJ Smith is sticking with Alabama supposedly.

He also said that we were pulling Bryant's offer and giving it to Gray. Rosie doesn't know shite.

Would people please stop giving Scout money.

Isn't my account so no worries there, they have the most comprehensive State site though so its hard to go elsewhere. And I honestly prefer Scout rankings over Rivals most years.

That being said, someone tell me what Rivals' update on Griffin says this morning.

It's truly amazing that these guys can still make a living. I can't imagine what they were pulling in during the Sherrill days. Gene must have been making a few hundred grand a year.

It's a pretty disappointing class in the trenches. Last year was also on the DL. I'm ok with other position recruiting in this cycle -- but we're about to be hurting depth-wise on the DL if we don't stockpile next year and probably grab a few JUCOs. Looking at losing PJ, Eulls, Virges next year -- and it basically being the Chris Jones/Nelson Adams/hopefully Nick James show.

I'm sure they barely missed that gold mine. I'm assuming recruiting sites had just came on the scene in the late 90's, maybe not until early 2000's?
