Besides the fact that he's much more a WR than a QB

he is probably less likely to flip than even O'Korn.

Not that simple if we offer him as a QB -- which we can logically do -- and move him to WR if Sandberg stays.

What are everyone's feelings about our chances with O'Korn.
I finally just watched his highlights. And I'm highly impressed. I agree with most of ya'll that O'Korn>Dobbs.

I think he gets in the boat this weekend if we can get him in for a visit.

I'm pretty pissed that we delayed this long for Dobbs, when O'Korn could have visited with Sandberg(who he actually knows and would be comfortable around) last weekend...

Yeah I think they should have asked him to OV and offered then. Would've been the smarter thing to do.

Apparently flubbing up QB recruiting is an art form for us. Even this year, where we get our number 1 target, it just so happens that he turns out to be a major elite baseball prospect as well. Then we drag our feet around getting offers out to other potential QBs waiting on Dobbs who not only was apparently never very serious about coming with us, but also doesn't fit our system as well as a guy like O'Korn.

If we have a flaw in our recruiting its the lack of involvement from our recruits. There seems to be no fire or connection between recruits to attract others.

I have always thought that we do not put enough time and planning into that type of advertisement.

I was thinking this the other day. You see LSU, Florida, and Ole Miss recruits trying to get other recruits to come play with them. I've never seen that with y'all.

Hell... The week of the MS/AL all star game Kailo Moore and Chris Jones didn't even know that either was committed to State.

It's not their fault. Our coaches don't seem to inform them on what's going on. The fact that Kailo and Jones didn't know each other is unacceptable. One asked the other where he was committed. He said "MS State". He didn't even believe him at first. Don't remember which was which, but that should never ever happen. The class is one of the selling points. Our fanbase isn't as united with recruiting either. Then guess what happened. Kailo flipped. We gotta do better there. Of course our coaches are better recruiters than I would ever be, but "C'mon Maaaan."

That bein said, Mix, Jones and one other seem to be trying. Flowers maybe?
