Suppose Arkansas clips Bama early next season. Why would we wanted to hide the ensuing lunacy of the Flagshippers ? Wouldn't we would be denying ourselves of pure comedic gold, threads comparing John L Smith to Knute Rockne or Paul Bryant.

The ADMINS do a great job, but they can't be on the site 24/7 taking out retards that constantly flame. They have lives to live. And yeah, idiotic Tiger Rant posters have been known to migrate over to the SECr to "take away from it". That's why they are considered Rantards by various posters.

I was speaking more to the general discussion that occurs in the thread(s). Things like upcoming schedule changes, discipline issues, and all sorts of other non-recruiting news. Most of these topics would be posted on the SECR before, now they just get posted in the team thread.
While we're on the subject I'll go ahead and say I think the continuous bashing of posters that bring legit info to the SECR has also hurt the SECR some. Every time someone post some positive news or a positive factoid about their favorite team it is invariably met with two pages of "fap,fap,fap" and "weak flame attempt" responses.
I wish every team had an "ALAHUNTER". I like coming to one site and getting news about all the teams, that is why I originally chose the SECR.

Let's be really honest here...it's a social forum. Many people will be idiots. And honestly, some of those idiots make the board more enjoyable and entertaining.
If all everyone did was post the most up-to-date commit, offer, sports rumor, or news article, this would be one incredibly boring site.
It's the idiots who keep us laughing and piss us off. And because of them I sometimes spend a couple of hours on here versus 20 minutes. I mean, the success of a website is largely proportional to traffic, right?

I love the zeal/delusion of the HogManiacs...sincerly. If Wilson does the unthinkable against UA, it will dwarf the great Homer invasion of 2008 (fanbase not referenced due to self preservation).

I think it would be wise to find someone that would be somewhat unbiased/fair (not a homer) to justly monitor each team's forum.
