It's bullshite that everybody can post on the so called "LSU team board" but I can't post on any other team board.
So when other fanbases whine about their team boards I just roll my eyes.
We deserve a batcave to scheme our future trolls just like every other fanbase around here.

The best way to do the LSU team board would be to let everyone on, and then remove the problems. Far easier than adding roughly 70,000 posters

I've wondered since I've been here why the Tiger Rant isn't turned into LSU's private team board. Too difficult to remove access to all posters except LSU ones?

Well, you've hit on the real reason we don't have a team board.
Chicken's top concern is page views and LSU posters bring a shitton of traffic. He doesn't really need to do anything to make us happy because we are a dime a dozen around here. We have nowhere better to go.
Whereas the other fanbases must be coddled and consoled (give them team boards!) to keep them from fleeing to competing websites.
I know we'll never get a true team board because they would be flooded with requests for access. It is unpossible.
Just venting out loud.

That's probably exactly why. Too damn many LSU posters equals massive headache for admins if they limited access.
That and we haven't bitched about it too much so the wheel isn't squeaky enough to be noticed.

Honest question... Is the trolling that dad on TR? Seems like with all the admins being LSU fans it'd be kept to a minimum...

Trolling is not the problem on Tiger Rant.
It's the uber homerific rantards that drown out the quality posters. Not unlike any other homer website, mind you. You know, the reason most of us sought out the SEC Rant in the first place.

Let people pick one and only one to be their home board.
If they frick up and cause mayhem on their declared team board, let the team board admins deal with them.
Make it like a user name -- you'll have to beg and plead the admins to change the team board you declared when you registered your account.
For everyone who's already here, the admins should let us declare one time and then it will be set in stone.
Or something along those lines.
