Please ban people that start ban bets.

These really do nothing for the board. The results are less interaction, less site traffic, and more animosity resulting in more flaming and trolling.
Harmless bets on sigs or other public shaming can be funny, but bets that drive posters away from the site simply harms this online community.

I don't know about a policy regarding threads on ban bets but the admins have said that ban bets are not enforceable. LINK. Basically the agreements are void as being against public policy.
