As I knew Phil from middle school, high school and through times I had the pleasure to hang out with him in college.

He was good dude and doesn't deserve having that article about him posted.

I ask that it be taken down, because a guy like that the only number that matters is the 43 he wore, not that stupid .377

Please take it down.

he was drinking that night, who cares. everyone does it

just cause he was drunk doesn't diminish who he was. i doubt anyone's going to think differently of him for it

sorry for your loss, truly, but i think this is a ridiculous request. it's already out there you can't put the cat back in the bag or whatever. as others stated that article doesn't mean he wasn't a great guy.

If anything the article should be stickied. I don't think this is anything bad on Lutz, it just brings light to the dangers of drinking and driving.

If anyone thinks of Lutz as a lesser person because he was drinking and responsible enough to not get behind the wheel, then that is more of a reflection on them, and not him.

Its sad that he was taken way to soon, but maybe these types of articles will make these kids realize they aren't bulletproof.

Nothing bad about Lutz was taken from that article. Sorry for your loss.

He was a good guy. But you cant erase what happened. Im sure Lutz hopes someone reads the article and choses not to make a similar mistake. He seems like the kind of guy that would want that to happen

No. The number that matters is 23, as in his age. It's tragic that he is gone at such a young age and those - like you - who knew him would be impacted & hurt by his loss if he never wore 43.

The BAC does matter in that it may serve as a reminder to others of the potential consequences of drunk driving.

Deleting it from this message won't serve any purpose. And it won't be deleted from the entire Internet.

It's a danger that people do every day. Awareness of the loss it can cause can help prevention.

You just did the exact opposite of what you were trying to accomplish.

I hate what happened as much as anyone. I also do not want to see his name smeared. But, they were in the wrong for what they did and there is nothing any of us can do about it now...

People pay for their mistakes in life. And I hate it that he and his friend had to pay with their lives...

Sorry you lost your friend.....
