Finally Won My First Am Tour Tournament!

It's taken me 3 years to do it, but I finally put it all together for all 18 holes!
Won my "C" flight with an 88 (including 6 doubles *fkin shortgame*) at the Forest Course at Kingwood Country Club
I know it's not worth much, but for all the time/practice/energy/$ - it just makes it so gratifying

How long was the round? I played last year but every round was at least 6 hours. Can't do that this year with a newborn.

It was around 5 hours. I've definitely played longer out there but it wasn't too bad!

Congrats K. I’ve played for 8 years and have won 4 majors, but never a single day event. Recently moved to Florida and now on the Orlando Tour. I bet you win more often now. Good luck this season.

I appreciate it! The course was playing short, so all I hit off of the tee all day was 4-iron. In the past, poor tee shots have kept me from winning - so to finally put it all together was so gratifying. Good luck to you as well!

How much more is Deerwood from I guess their all access to the 4 on the reservation? I have been a member at Kingwood CC twice and never asked. Figured with Deerwood access it would be kidney/first born expensive.
