re: Big Week for Coach Chris

The wolf of west lakeshore takes uptown. Coach Chris will have the greenies primed for another state championship and playoff run. His finance is one lucky lady
Incredible hire by the only school in Louisiana to make the 12 team playoff

Big miss by Lane and co. Makes me wonder if he was really the right man for the job.

Congrats to Tulane on the hiring and their 2025 state championship

Putting Mirror

The Putting Mirror really helps me address putts square. It's helped a ton on the shorter putts.

I wonder if there is still another South Korean in the mix & who it could be

Sungjae and Si woo are the only ones that make sense. They're exempt from military service for winning team gold at asian games. The other guys need the OWGR points to qualify for Asian Games and Olympic teams for a chance to get the military exemption. Hard to see any of the other South Koreans going
Puig is a future star imo

Kinda doubt the other two end up doing much.
Is anything on South Lakesure Drive available? We need to get the wolf back in the friendly confines near sorority row
Thank you for giving us a choice, Xan. I wish more people would have followed you and voted for you like I did. I look forward to voting for you in every election moving forward.

We should give the wolf of west lakesure a look for head coarch imo

Course looks like an awful golf course with cool views to me. Does a terrible job of rewarding good shots or punishing bad shots. Seems like it's a lot of luck. Rates are $200 resort guest and $250 public guest

re: Sandbaggers suck arse

I've always thought giving strokes in member guests leads to more sandbagging. They should be flighted and played straight up from there imo.

And the club needs to police it. Ban sandbagging guests and force the member into better flights next time
I golf prov1x logo overruns from golfballs dot com for $40/dozen

They're regular prov1 of the latest model you want, they just have random logos or words on them

re: Lafayette/Youngsville golf

LT and Oakbourne. Public golf around Lafayette isn't good. The Farm and the Wetlands are decent public options, but tough to get a desirable tee time and not much in the way of games and social aspect you're looking for. I'd reach out to LT and OCC for the latest membership info

Under armour has nothing to do with the PGA tour. Spieth would get that whether he was with the PGA or LIV.

Probably not. Even if he doesn't agree to go full team branding and marketing like Rahm and others have, he's going to get less from under armour with less exposure, impressions, and marketability

Potgieter and Min Woo Lee

Two ball speed imposters, good riddance.

I'm doubtful MWL ever wins anything of substance, but he's extremely popular and marketable

Potgieter is still so young it's hard to count him out, but the short game needs tons of work before he's ready to compete with the top guys. The driver is a special weapon though. He'll always compete at the boring bomb and gouge set ups

All work is essentially prostitution at some level, and all money is “dirty” somehow, so I don’t care whether guys take millions to play golf or not

Baw, what do you do for work that requires this level of mental gymnastics?

Sucks that a guy who produced 2.5+ WAR for each of the last 5 years and started a world series clinching game for us has to go out like this. He's done it to himself
What sucks is our payroll is guaranteed to be pretty high the next couple years with the contracts we've given out. So ownership will want to make the team competitive and try to win. But the team is far too flawed to have a real chance to do anything other than lose in a wildcard series at best. So we'll slowly sink to the bottom and have nothing of value to sell by the time we get there instead of trading Pena, Yordan, Brown, Abreu, etc while they still have value
Correa, Walker, Altuve, McCullers on the books next year for a total over $90mm in 2026. We'll be lucky if we get positive WAR out of that group.

Yordan, Javier, and Hader on the books for another $70mm with Pena, Brown, Paredes, and Yainer getting more expensive in arbitration. Hard to see where we have any financial flexibility to add anything in 2026

Type to start selling parts while they still have value and start the rebuild
