Hang in there, man. Life does suck but it will have its good moments. Do not know each other but if you ever need an ear I have two that you can use.

I'm super grateful for you guys. Really, a lot of time gets dedicated here because I live outside of America and keep to myself abroad so it's really the only outlet I have.

I appreciate you guys a lot.

It's definitely a great win. I hesitated to come back but I had a lot of unfinished business.

Glad that you’re back brother. My mom passed away back in June unexpectedly, but no comparison to what you and your family are going through. I just want to second what was already said, that if you ever need someone to reach out to, I’ve got 2 ears as well. Place ain’t been the same without you, and if this brings you some reprieve, then I’m happy for you. Cheers from Florida!

I don't try to measure agony, but on a scale of one to ten I feel like it's a solid nine.

I'm definitely not prepared to lose my mom, so you have my sympathy, too.

I’ve come to learn that grief isn’t a competition - there is no winner, only pain. We all process it differently and on our own time. It’s a process that I’m still going through, but it has given me a different perspective in how I view most things. Keeping myself busy has been my go to. Not sure if it’s actually helped or if it’s just a distraction, but in any case I’ll take it. FWIW, I can tell from your posts that you’re an intelligent individual, you’ll find your way through the process.

Honestly, it emulates the track of an orbit, or a wave. I'll be fine for a day or two then realize that I won't ever talk to him again. I think I'm handling it well, I've sort of isolated to let it soak in.

However, that's been my go to as well. Simply finding things to do in the day to take up my time and wait for this to pass.

Thank you guys again, everyone for helping me through this.

Welcome back man and I hope things continue to get better (but something like that totally is sad and sucks, so I get it). Glad this board can be an outlet and the UF win can help out somewhat or at least bring some positive for you. Still have prayers for you in your grieving.
