Just curious, but what else do y'all get into. I know who you pull for in football and what a bunch of masochists we all are due to it, and I know most people's politics. But I don't really know much about the folks here beyond that and was kinda curious.
Aside from my actual job, I'm a musician and have a pretty solid reputation as a go-to guitarist around here. I like fricking around with cars, something I've done my whole life, and have recently gotten into screwing around with Harleys. At my age, working on a bike is a little more forgiving than crawling under sports cars, and a little easier on the wallet too. Working on air-cooled engines also brings back happy memories of overhauling VW Bugs when I was a wee lad and my dad was obsessed with them. Got into muscle cars when I was a teen, but I always enjoyed the simplicity of a Beetle.

I’m a draftsman by trade. Work for one of the largest steel manufacturers in the country. Maybe THE largest actually.

My Dad, Papaw, and on back were freemasons. My Great^3 Grandfather was one of the founders of the first York Rite Lodges in Mexico.

Well, I appreciate the answers. After being here for more than 10 years, I realized I kind of only know y'all from agonizing over the Gators and the politics thread. Not sure if any of us want to be known solely for our hot takes on sports and politics, haha.

In 2021 I moved back home to St. Augustine after being out of state for over 30 years. Traveled many miles to Gator games at home and away. I manage a Distribution Center / Warehouse. Planned on retiring last year but an opportunity came up and with the Biden economy, inflation, I now plan on working about 4 more years. I own a couple Jeeps and just like hanging out at the beach with friends and family, attending Gator sporting events, and I like working around the house on projects. Simple life.

Fellow St. Auggie here. Born and raised in Jax in a Gator-cessed family and moved to St. Aug when I started dating my now-husband (of 15 years, as of tomorrow). Used to work for the local mullet wrapper doing ad order entry, now work from home for the larger company (Gannett) doing the same thing but, ironically, for some northeast papers instead of the local rags.
Free time usually finds me on my PlayStation or farting around with creative/fantasy fiction writing. I also love to dress up and go to Ren Faires with my BFF, so Hoggetowne is the regular closest one for us.

Live in Huntsville and retiring from civil service on 12/31. No immediate plans for the future other than lose 25 lbs and get I better shape. May become a contractor part time in a few months. Have a few bucket list things to knock out

Work in drilling, mostly Gulf of Mexico but have gotten to go all over the world with it.
I have 3 kids so most of my free time goes towards spending time with them and coaching their sports teams.
We camp a lot. Trying to hit up all the national parks before my oldest is 18, but looking more and more like that's a stretch.

Live in gville. Work at Uf did my PhD there too.
Hobbies and job kind of intersect. Love reading and research. Gaming when I have time- love strategy games. Have two kids and so not always a ton of time. Family loves to travel and we’re just getting back to doing that more. Travel a decent amount for work. I’ve started to consult some- think that’ll be a big thing money wise later in life. Family was career military so moved around a lot as a kid before we settled here. Love the club sport scene in gville but I’m starting to get a bit slow- have had to change to less strenuous sports lol. Always been a bit of a political tweener until shite got crazy the past 10 years. I am friends with an open communist and an avid Reagan fan. I usually sit them together at parties just for fun.
