It’s sad that if we go down by 10-14 early, I know Florida is done lol

Yep, that's pretty much who we are. Especially on the road.

The CEO/recruiting stuff is all fine and why we want him to succeed. But Napier's inability to adapt to the opponent and make in game changes could potentially be his downfall.

Every team has tough in game stretches, so either you adapt or fail.

So have y'all seen the schedule for next year? If you haven't just don't go look.

The schedules will stay tougher too. We've got a few trips out west and Notre Dame in the next 5-7 years.

napier just said in his monday press conference:

"y'all weren't asking these questions a few weeks ago."

eta: he was also asked if he has considered giving up play calling duties and proceeded to give a run-around response.

he's the most critical of himself
he's always evaluating
etc.
etc.

reporter then asks to clarify:

"so you're still the play caller"

billy:

"yes."

Well, we hadn't gotten our shite completely pushed in by Kentucky a few weeks ago.

Everyone needs to keep asking these questions until the pressure make Napier consider a change. he also needs to be asked every week about special teams.

y'all should definitely watch this during your lunch break today. you could definitely feel the pressure. napier's tapping of the podium indicates that.

Napier says he has confidence in what we do and how we do it.

"I think I like what I hear from our players just spending time with them here yesterday and then having met with the leadership group earlier. It's good when your players have perspective. They do want to do better."

Napier said he's a lot more critical of himself than "anyone on the outside is," and that he will continue to be the play caller.

"You lose as a result of not playing winning football”

"I don't necessarily think we lack physicality. Nobody asked that after Tennessee."

Sounds like he needs to create an account, join this board, and post in this thread about the pressure and expectations

That wasn't a good look today.

"We're getting better at our process."

That's nice, dear.

The cooker is fired up after Saturday. If the Gators don't look good against a poor Vandy team Saturday, expect a low boil to begin. Hopefully Napier understands the stakes on Saturdays game.

My guess is we will really put it on Vandy but if we were to lose to SC before losing to Georgia Napier will really start feeling the heat. If we close out the season 1-5 or 0-6 Napier will realize this isn't the Sunbelt conference. It may take going 5-7 to make him give up play calling.

I mean, he does suck really bad. So I get the frustration but it's lame to harass him like that.
