Mullen has put together a solid coaching staff and is putting together a solid recruiting class as well. This may have been a better hire than some Gator fans give him credit for. Go Gators.

Greg Knox and Sal Sunseri are officially part of the staff.

Offense
Billy Gonzales: Wide receivers/co-offensive coordinator
John Hevesy: Offensive line/co-offensive coordinator
Brian Johnson: Quarterbacks
Greg Knox: Running backs/special teams coordinator
*(Ja’Juan Seider likely to remain, potentially coaching TEs if Knox keeps his RBs role)
Defense
Todd Grantham: Defensive coordinator/linebackers
Sal Sunseri: Defensive line
Charlton Warren: Defensive backs
*(Tim Skipper’s status remains unknown as other holdover from McElwain’s staff)
**Grantham and Mullen had separate cornerbacks and safeties coaches last season at Mississippi State and could elect for the same arrangement here.

I have Knox as TE coach and Special teams.
Could be either. Figure keep Seider where he has been money, and put Knox at TE. Special teams being his priority obviously. Really need improvement there.

That is some good news. Pretty dang good recruiter and seems like a decent coach. Players like him as well and that translates well to prospective players

We got some stud recruiters now
Sal, Seider, Knox, Billy, Brian Johnson, Robinson we shall see but with his age and personality I would think players draw to him, and Warren who immediately pulled Dean mind you.
Man...this is a really solid staff. Sunseri is really the only "splash" hire..but every hire is very solid.

I love that the staff is young, too. I'm ready to see Florida football again.

Going to have to bring someone else in, Seider is moving on.

Our best recruiter. This sucks

No way around it, losing Seider is a step back. Gotta find someone comparable. Why couldn’t this wait till after signing day? So stupid.

The timing certainly isn't ideal. The names being floated are big recruiters as well, so I guess we'll have to wait and see who they bring in.

Whos being looked at? Saw Larry Scott but that would be a HUGE drop off From a recruiting and coaching standpoint

A huge dropoff? Not sure I would go that far, Seider was only here for a year. Larry Scott is someone a lot of people were really hoping would be a part of the staff when it was getting filled out because of his great recruiting ties to state.
Chad Scott has been getting mentioned quite a bit as well. Mullen is going to target someone known for their recruiting ability.

Seider is a top notch coach and recruiter. Neither Scott is that. You can have ties to the state all you want and suck at recruiting. See Shannon and bell. Scott's best commits were basketball players. Hard pass. As for a new hire I'd expect the new ULL OL coach to be hired. He coached TEs at MSU. He could've just kept Seider and found another spot for Knox. Where have I seen this before where coaches hire all their buddies. How many guys did Swinney, Saban, Meyer, etc hire from their last schools? We've turned into MSU part 2. Seider was the best coach and recruiter we had on the entire staff. IMO we're not gonna have an easy finish or get the same talent that Seider gave us access to.
