Mullen has built a solid staff thus far. Still waiting to see who the NFL DL coach is, hopefully thats shored up soon so we can get on some of these DL recruits

It would have been nice to get his son for sure. I like Warren though. Def an upgrade at this position.

So right now.

Head coach = upgrade
RB = Same..which is a good thing
OC = Upgrade if even we don't have one...cause Doug is that bad
Oline = Even
WR = Upgrade
Defensive line = Unknown
LB = Same
ST = Warren > NOrd if they make him it
DB = Upgrade
DC = Upgrade

S&C = World's better

Really haven't had any wtf hires at all. I know Grantham isn't a top, top DC but he is very good. Hev has some recruiting skills to make up for, but he develops well. Still. The staff looks much better than it did last year.

Hevesy does not equal Davis. Davis might be a better recruiter however our OLs had shitty form when trying to block in space. Hevesy has a history of putting together good to great OLs.

I highly doubt that we keep Skipper.

Also I would like a dedicated Special Teams coach with the 10 assistant.

I think Skipper will have to be replaced if only because Grantham runs a system with more linebackers. That's going to be a big focal point for him, and even with suspensions only 5 scholarship LBers will never cut it in the SEC.

I have no idea what kind of position he'd have on the team, but he's a huge boon to have for WR's visiting.

From Stricklin and the recruiting Blondie's twitter.

If the rumors are true about him being involved with the S&C staff, Awesome! Dude was never soft in the weight room. Probably a better WR coach during the offseason than the one we had under shark fricker.

Percy position being sold by Percy himself...

He could help with S&C, WR's, RB's, and recruiting...

I don't see how he wouldn't be considered a major hire.

A lot of people said that he wasn't exactly fond of S&C when he was at Florida, but I don't think that matters. If he's on the staff, he'll probably be a mix of S&C and WR, and it is an absolutely big time hire to have him around if only to sell the kids what he accomplished while at Florida.

Florida: Sources tell FootballScoop Oakland Raiders linebackers coach Sal Sunseri is a strong candidate to join Dan Mullen’s staff at Florida coaching the defensive line. Sunseri coached defensive ends for Jimbo at Florida State 2013 & 14 and served as defensive coordinator at Tennessee prior to that (and as Alabama’s assistant head coach / linebackers prior to that).

That would be an outstanding hire. If Mullen can pull it off, we'll have a pretty good staff in place to be successful. There's a shite ton of chatter that a lot of flips are coming, too.

My body is ready.

Has to be Sal then. I hear the OLB coach may be Robinson. Probably the least heralded of the coaches we got. Still. Sal would be an amazing get for defensive line. Guy is a hell of a position coach and won recruiter of the year in 2011..can only further improve our already very good group of recruiters.
