Thoroughly unimpressed. His DBs sucked at UT except warrior.

UT ranked #4 in pass defense this year, ranked #67 in '16 before Warren got there so there's that.

Not sure anyone can really judge a position coach based on one season at a program. He did a great job at his previous stops.

That's good. The only team they played that was a passing team was miz. Held them in check but they didn't have to really throw that game. Hope it works out. He can't be worse than bell or Callahan

His pass defense at UNC was good too. Dmb was right. I got my hopes up for surtain.. let's see what Warren' s got.

This is not a solid coaching staff in my opinion not much better then what we had get ready gator fans going to be a tough couple of years to come for us in football sucks but it is what it is will be lucky to win 6 to 8 games a year next 2 + years

This staff is a major upgrade over the previous staff. Name one position unit that has a worse coach. Starting to think you’re a troll and may be time for you to take a lap buddy.

You should try watching football more.
Every Tenn fan even said this was a good get. One of the few coaches they liked. Recruits very well(see us landing two four star Db's as soon as he comes along magically), and coaches toughness. This was a very good hire.

UNC fans also thought he was their best coach.
Surtain would have been better for the short term (getting his son).
Warren is more experienced and is exactly what UF needs for its DBs.

It would have been nice to get his son for sure. I like Warren though. Def an upgrade at this position.
So right now.
Head coach = upgrade
RB = Same..which is a good thing
OC = Upgrade if even we don't have one...cause Doug is that bad
Oline = Even
WR = Upgrade
Defensive line = Unknown
LB = Same
ST = Warren > NOrd if they make him it
DB = Upgrade
DC = Upgrade
S&C = World's better
Really haven't had any wtf hires at all. I know Grantham isn't a top, top DC but he is very good. Hev has some recruiting skills to make up for, but he develops well. Still. The staff looks much better than it did last year.
