Not really.
Some brackets had UF in as an 8 before today.
I think we're still in.
Our resume really isn't all that impressive -- we're 3-9 in Q1 games, 8-10 aginst Q1/Q2, and now have two Q3 losses. We're banking on our NET being good and the bubble being historically shallow unless we can get another good win. And our NET will surely take a pretty harsh fall after last night. Our RPI dropped from 50 to 67 -- UGA is really bad. If the committee is checking their work against the RPI this season, that's bad news.

We definitely didn't need this lose. It certainly makes us a bubble team. Hard to understand us beating LSU and then lose to UGA. With that said every team is going to have ups and downs, win some lose some.
I'm still on board with the team. Lets get another win from a Q1 and see where we stand.

You guys give up on this team too much. It was a tough loss versus UGA, but we had grit versus LSU (should have won) and played well in Rupp, so the run in the SEC tourney isn't all that surprising.
I think we're in now and I think the admin of this board should ban the OP for being an idiot.

He's coached well the last few games O agree. Team is doing....exactly what I said it needed to do. Shocking huh. Moving off the ball. Pushing tempo when needed. Not sitting on the ball for twenty seconds.
Maybe this is a sign White is turning a corner as a coach. I'll happily be wrong and see us win more. Still waiting. After last year and his complete regression of that team through the year, and the stagnant offense this season my concerns aren't resolved. I think he has to bring in new assistants this off-season to help with the offense. His defense has always been good. Have to win on both sides though.

This Auburn game was very well coached by White. One of his best coaching jobs this season easily. This game we faced a better team with more depth and he forced a close game by controlling tempo with smart ball movement. Also got fricked by the refs...what bullshite.
Will happily eat crow if he continues this coaching and doesn't regress back to the stagnant offense that has killed us for two straight years

2008 was wrong here but he's clearly a Gator fan; it's not like he's TJ. I've seen him be positive plenty about other programs and, even if he'll always be known as the Chip Kelly guy on the rant, he has a right to voice his opinions about Gator sports.

If we all agreed with 2008 and GatorsGators about our basketball program, it would be depressing.

Sorry sorry. I was mad.
You are critical of Mike White, which is fine, but you have to admit what he has done this year is remarkable considering the circumstances.
With what we have coming in next year and this freshmen corp looking phenomenal, I hope you see that next year is going to be special.
Hell, this year can be special if we get hot.

Another well coached game where White outcoached the other sideline. Done it four straight. Even with the loss Auburn he coached a win just didn't fall our way. Nice to see. Hopefully my being ready to fire him was preemptive. Keeps this kind of coaching up this thread will certainly be crowing eating by me...which I would be happy to do over watching UF struggle. The

Winning this game helps the team believe in themselves even if some fans don't like his style. I can't complain too much with UF playing well the last few games.
No ones perfect but the team doesn't seem to get rattled like the tend to do. I think that's maturity and experience. From the coaches and the players.

UFs problems this year have never been due to coaching, Mike White is a good coach and has put the players in position to make plays. Unfortunately too many open shots have been missed and too many balls bounced off players feet or bad passes thrown.
If the Gators, what have you done for me lately fans, will just be patient the program has a bright future under coach White. Go Gators.

Its fair to criticize aspects of his coaching.
It is NOT fair to call for the guy's head if you don't watch this team every game and understand just how difficult it is for White to get this team to where it is.
White is doing a TREMENDOUS job.

Whites working magic if you ask me. Upset Michigan and everyone will be talking him up. In my opinion keeping it close and competitive will suffice.
Next year we will have better players coming in and once they’re coached up the skies the limit. I don’t expect a drastic upgrade to start the season but by the end it should be a much better team.
